They get tired from the rodeo road trip because they are constantly traveling
I remember thinking in the detroit game, the way the play they wont be able to handle a true play off series. They foul way to much, and what do you know jalen duren fouls out.
rodeo roadtrip happens every year during february.the san antonio stock show and rodeo uses the arena during that time, so the spurs play all games during this time on the road. usually about 2 or 3 weeks games worth
Watching the Knicks games, we dont play them like normal. Its like they dont take them seriously. But when you lose 2 of 3 you damn sure should

Rodeo road trip is when the spurs play 8-9 games on the road straight. It became a thing in the pop era it’s a time where the players really gel because they are on the road for like 3-4 weeks straight.
So, BK game and Knicks game Wemby said he was tired it’s from the rodeo road trip constant travel, little rest, bad night sleeping. Early wake ups.

Born and raised in San Antonio, there has always been a rodeo, bull riding, horse riding ect… it lasts about 2 weeks. For some reason, the Spurs and the rodeo book the same arena, so… for the time the rodeo is in town, all of the Spurs games are road trips, so they don't get to rest in their beds, homes, ect. They're living out of their suitcases and in hotels. When Pop was running the show, it was a time to get the players to show their metal, it's their crucible Two to three weeks on the road, not kissing your wife or kids before bed, living off hotel coffee and sterile environments. It used to be a distraction because they were away from home for at least 2 weeks, now because of Pop, it's become a test to find out how strong are you as a man and as a player, if you can handle the road trip, you can handle the playoffs.

7:29 is very reminiscent of a play Tim Duncan made in game 6 of the 2003 Finals that's stapled in my mind. Goes up for a layup, misses, gets the putback while being triple-teamed, celebrates the same way as Wemby here. Just one of those plays that has stuck out all these years when thinking back to the 2003 Finals.

Lmao Rodeo Road Trip gang is basically the yearly road trip the team goes on where the are away from home for over a month including all star break time.
The rodeo roadtrip is there’s a lot of rodeos for like 2 weeks and the spurs play in Austin and away games for a while because the court has rodeo dirt
So the rodeo would be in there stadium every year, so they would play rode for like two weeks

Rodeo Road trip is this month long away game stretch because the Frost Bank center is used for the San Antonio Rodeo. Like literally horses and cattle. So, in the mean time, the Spurs play all their games on the road durint this stretch, hence the "Rodeo Road Trip".

Rodeo road trip is when the rodeo comes to SA and it stays at the frost bank center for a whole month, so the spurs usually go on an 8 or 9 road game stretch ! The spurs usually gel on that road trip, so after that the spurs start to play their best ball. The spurs went 8-1 on the road trip this year which tied the franchise best set in 2003 which was the first year they went on the rodeo trip ! They won the championship that year !
