I don't think that any of Mike's comments were negative towards Jonathan. He simply stated facts. Sometimes Jonathan played OK. Many times he played pretty good. He has a great upside. I think you were spot on when you said that you may be a bit biased because you do not like what Steve and Mike were doing. I'll be sure to keep your name in mind so that I will not watch any more of your videos. It's much more interesting to watch someone who is capable of restraining from being bias.

We GS fans know that he never bought in to the defense. He is going to be a great offensive player, but he wanted to be the focal point instead of being in a Steph first offense. That threw off the chemistry. It wasn’t about his offense. He didn’t want to play the role of Klay or JB, because of his talent. Understood, so we let him go so that he can be happy somewhere else. That’s all. Yes, when Steph leaves, we will regret this, but we respect him enough not to keep him hostage any longer. We tried to keep him, but he was unhappy playing the way we needed him to play. Everyone always said that Dean Smith was the only person who could hold MJ under 20 points. Jordan won a National Championship under Dean. People are saying the same thing about Kerr regarding Kuminga. Well, Kuminga has his ring as a former Warrior. Michael didn't make his teammates better his first handful of years with the Bulls, but jeez he could sky. It wasn't until he realized that he had to make everyone around him better, to win rings. Jonathon can jump out of the gym, but he doesn't make anyone better around him.

Everyone who talks about maximizing Curry's last years apparently doesn't have a clue about the system in place to do just that. Kuminga is one of the best players on a mid-level team (32-31 at the time of this). He's going to have the opportunity to do well. With the Hawks, he doesn't have to be a team player and really sacrifice for two other seasoned players (Steph & Jimmy). He should do well. Just like Jalen Johnson was doing well when Trey was out. I don't think the comment was underhanded at all. Also, Mike Dunleavy DID acknowledge Kuminga's trade demand. What he said was there was no, or low, demand for Kuminga on the trade market.
Kuminga never wanted to play a role in the Warriors(Steph Curry) system. Same thing that happened with Jordan Poole. They weren't willing to change their playing style to play off of Curry.
Because they won't accept the role given, there's no solution. The Warriors aren't going to diminish Curry's excellence to prioritize a young player's personal ambitions. You're either team-first or you don't play.
