I dont buy the thunder as villians just unlikeable unfair. They benefit from one side basketball whistles, and every team in the league complains about the blatant ignoring of their violations.
SGA gets away with pushing off with that chicken wing.. won't get called on it.. come playoffs coaches need to get on the refs and make it a point on that move if the opposing team is playing good defense and the refs don't bail him out
The Thunder are showing signs of being the next dynasty. Every dynasty has had to deal with the vitriol of the rest of league, fanbases, and bias media who wish they had as good of a team. Everyone wants to see the team on top fall so they will look for any chink in the armor—favorable whistles, dirty plays, fouls not being called… Some are true, some are not. Doesn't change the fact that OKC is a better team and Chandler and Lou nail it: They have built this team the right way, they are a cohesive group, and that should be respected. Don't hate them 'cause you ain't them.

The officiating has become more and more frustrating each year. I’m a Spurs fan and it’s frustrating seeing Wemby getting bear hugged and thrown around and it’s not a foul but I guess I’m supposed to accept that since he does get away with traveling at least once a game.
Caruso from OKC hacks nonstop but gets away with it a lot of the time. Dort resorts to old school dirty play and gets away with it. SGA flops and gets fouls called in his favor sometimes but doesn’t get fouls in other instances when he’s actually hit harder on a drive to the basket in traffic. I don’t get it.
Where’s the consistency in calling a foul? A foul is a foul regardless of who does it. We need to call it when it happens each time even if it means stars foul out early to get teams to stop. If Caruso wants to foul out in the first 5 minutes, that’s his problem. Don’t give him extra runway just to keep him in the game.

Guys, they’re villains cause of how physical they are and don’t get called for it. There are teams that OKC seems like they target, and that’s Denver, SAS, NYK and other top teams. Basically only against top teams where otherwise they wouldn’t be able to win with just their offense. Stop it.
