We are way ahead of schedule. Spurs are playing with house money. But next year… we will dominate for the next decade. We will be better than OKC next year and way better the year after and so on.

As OKC fan I’m looking at the spurs like I looked at the 2024 thunder. I thought they could win it all but i didn’t know definitively. They had to play and lose in the playoffs to find out what their flaws were. They then adjusted and 2025 I knew from 30 games in They were gonna win it all. The Spurs will have to go through the same process which is why they are a year early.
OKC had a couple of close series last year in the playoffs because of complete fluke game one losses to Denver and Indy on last second miracle shots where the Thunder had complete control of those games the entire game before just letting their foot off the gas too soon. That is NOT going to happen this year. They are adding Mitchell and McCain to last year's championship team and if you haven't seen these two play get ready because you're going to find out how good they are. A team will do well to win a game against OKC in the playoffs…that's not even joking a little bit.

San Antonio is not taking OKC to 7 their first year in the playoffs. Thunder in 5 easily.
