Who wins an NBA Finals matchup between the Spurs and Celtics?
Jaylen used to that eastern conference defense.. silly boy. Wasn’t ready for that smoke 💨
The spikeys on your @tags on the bottom drive me insane. I can fix that if you want, send me a msg.
Wemby is the second best player in the league
So if cade was actually getting talked about for MVP where is wemby he is miles better than cade
I feel thankful today. Thankful for Jalen Brown's inability to keep his mouth shut. Way to go JB. Also thankful for the Celtics deciding to leave Wemby open from the 3pt line. Lastly, I'm thankful for the Sacramento King's poisoning their relationship with Fox and prompting him to force a trade to San Antonio.
Josh, I've never seen you without a hat! I usually avoid commenting on YouTubers' appearance, but your haircut really suits you! 😄
We appreciate having fox here in San Antonio. GO SPURS GO!
I’m a newer subscriber and a Spurs fan and I just want to say thank you for covering the Spurs as much as you do. You make more Spurs content that some Spurs YouTube channels 😂. Also watching the game and covering it from work is crazy work. Y’all some hoop heads.
Please tell me you guys are from New Jersey! Lol
As a Spurs fan I love Fox, my daughter even loves Fox. I haven’t understood why people don’t like the fit, he brings so much to the team
Even as a Spurs fan I'm kinda upset we didn't get to see the teams at full strength. Not mad at the refs, mad at Jaylen for not having the sense to just shut up after the first tech
Go Spurs Go!!
jalen brown thought he was draymond green. nah, go take a early 🚿
Jaylen got human angry and got himself kicked out
We love Fox. When hes cooking, they let him go. Sometimes he gets tunnel vision tho. He's definitely getting better about it as the season goes.
I'm a Spurs fan and I'll share what I think about Fox. First, I agree with everything you said about him. That said, I have mixed feelings about Fox. Not because I don't think he's good – he's awesome! And that just elevates late in games – he's superb most nights. My mixed feelings come from the viewing experience. Offensively, Fox sort of seems to exist outside of the team. When I watch Spurs games this season, it's like either the offense (i.e., the team) scores, or Fox scores. But those two things look to be separate to me. And this is true even when all of our main guys have monster games. I think this is one of the reasons that I prefer Castle and Harper playing the point is that, by my eye at least, they play way better with the team and with Wemby than Fox does. This might be by strategy, but it's not the best viewing experience when the team is on its way to the 'beautiful game,' and then they go to Fox iso for 5-6 possessions. I don't see a ton of chemistry with Fox and Wemby, and they have a lower net rating than Wemby's other lead guard pairings. That said, the Wemby/Fox pairing still has a great net rating (+12.9). But, I think there's a difference between Wemby and/or Fox playing well when the other's on the floor (because each acts as a decoy), versus them playing well together (which is what I don't see). Maybe the decoy thing is more effective than the playing together thing, but watching it is not super enjoyable for me sometimes. I haven't complained much about Fox, but I think this pattern is what's caused Spurs fans to be upset with Fox when he goes hero ball or 'looks Wemby off' in late game scenarios. They don't play together a ton in general, so it doesn't seem to come naturally in high-pressure situations either. Anyway, I'd love to hear y'all's thoughts on this.
Wembys defense is ridiculous
Go Spurs go!
San Antonio loves 🦊
I understand the game gets heated, but JB showed a serious lack of leadership getting himself thrown out and swinging his arms out at his coaches. Disappointing.
Fox has deferred all season to Castle and Harper to give the kids much needed development. But you can sense that as the playoffs nears that he has been a lot more assertive. This young Spurs team despite lack of playoff experience is a very dangerous darkhorse that can with a bit of luck win it all.
What Kwab did not mention in his first half recap is that Wemby got hit up the nose in the beginning of the first quarter, stayed on the ground for a couple of minutes and had to get out of the court for the rest of the first. I feel like he was shaken up after that, had a few unusual bad mistakes, poor defence, passes to nobody (all of his 5 turnovers were in this period during the second quarter), He was avoiding contact and honestly did not have a great first half. But still made a few shots from downtown and finishes the first with 11 pts. Much better second half.
quel est le géant français le plus aimé ou le plus connu au usa : wemby ou andré le géant ?? Which French giant is the most loved or best known in the USA: Wemby or André the Giant?
The Celtics with no brown or Tatum and almost won ok Knicks fans lol 😅 Celtics are coming
Love the ball cap
Spurs fan here. Anyone who doesn't think Fox is a huge positive for our team is out of the damn minds.
AS A LAKERS FAN…..BOSTON SHOULD HAVE WON THIS GAME…JB WAS EJECTED EARLY….NO PRITCHARD!!!!!!!
The unselfish play and team mentality was started by Coach Pop, David Robinson, and Tim Duncan. They all talked to Wemby to make sure he understood and he completely bought in. Manú and Tony Parker are among the former players who are a constant presence at practice.
Go Spurs Go
I think cs would've won if jb there foul is a foul in 15 min jb had 11 pts 8 assists he was cooking robbed of a game vuj brown and Pritchard out hopefully finals
He only managed 50% of Bams power
Love how you both dissect the game!

Cs hit some crazy shots, those aren't always going to be there.
Good comment about Fox. I think he will be very important, second most important player.
Wemby had about 4 or 5 bad games in a row. We all know what happened. Teams played really physical defense. That took his legs and wore him out. As a result he didn't want to go into the paint. But for the same reason his perimeter shots were short. His 3s were off.
Wemby is a much better 3 point shooter than his current percentage. I am pretty certain I know what's going on because it's a trend we saw last year. He started 8 for 30 this season. Then for about two and a half months or so, he was shooting 40% from 3. Around the all-star break, shortly after it, his 3 point shot went away. You could just tell he had no legs. He was like 3 for 20. The coaches FINALLY picked up on it, made him rest enough to restore his legs. And now he is fresh again and you see it. It's especially clear at the end of the game. If he's making 3s, it means he's not worn down.
The previous season we saw the same thing: his first and last month were by far his worst months. I think he didn't have his legs under him in November. The middle 3 months he shot about 36%. Then I think maybe from the DVT or just from getting worn down, he had a terrible month.
What's encouraging is that the last 3 games his 3 point shot has returned.
The physical defense back to back if he logs minutes can wear him down. Teams know that's a weakness even though he is a lot stronger than he used to be and is working on it. So they are trying to wear him down.
But if he has his legs under him he's a 38%+ 3 point shooter. He's not Steph Curry and nobody is saying he is, but he is a very good 3 point shooter when he has his legs. Look at his mechanics. Look at the numbers and the video and what is a better explanation?
It will be more physical, but there will be more rest.
The most important thing he needs to work on is building his leg strength. His core is stronger. His upper body is strong and his arms are stronger. I put it that way on purpose. But he really needs to build his leg strength and not just 1 time squat 1,000 pounds.bI mean being able to hold position and not get get pushed out and not get worn down.
If he stay healthy and he does build his leg strength, then I think he will be indefensible and what we already see with his defense will be even more prevalent, namely fewer and fewer paint shots, the few paint shots there are will be made at a lower percentage, more midrange, long 2s, and 3 point shots.
He will be able to hold his position in the paint. At that point, the league is cooked. Beating his team in a best 4 out of 7 if his team is healthy will just not happen. That's the league in 1 or 2 years.
And the Spurs might or might not be the favorites to win it all, but they definitely have a legit shot.
Their weaknesses are : impact if the physical defense on Wemby, overall health, and 3 point shooting. If Castle and Fox and Bryant and Champagnie and Barnes and Vassell and Victor but 3s at 36% or better, they can't be beaten. Stephon Castle has been shooting 38.5% from 3 over his last 13 games. Bryant has seen a huge jump in his 3s. Fox has been average maybe. Champagnie and Vassell have been shooting well from 3 this season. Barnes is normally a better 3 point shooter than he has shown recently. If Castle keeps shooting like this, even though his overall season percentage is atrocious, his percentage over a fairly long recent stretch has been good enough to make them have to guard his 3.
. I feel like I am getting an unbiased analysis. You are never going to agree with anybody 100%, but that's not why I listen. If your viewpoints aren't challenged, you're unlikely to learn anything. But I know I am getting an analysis where people are seriously giving a thoughtful dispassionate and objective evaluation of what is happening and what they see. When I was in school (too much education my degrees are in mathematics) there's something I feel in my brain when I am learning something. I don't get that a lot anymore even though I try to seek knowledge out. But it's happened multiple times with you including this time.
I’m a big time Spurs fan who loves the idea of an aggressive attacking De’Aaron Fox. My issue with him is he becomes passive to a fault. Not saying he needs to take a ton of shots, but he should always attack until the defense stops him. We should not ever go too many possessions without him getting two feet in the paint. He has been better during this run!! Hope he brings it in the playoffs!!!
It's weird how Jaylen crashed out over something so soft. It's definitely not worth getting thrown over.
Damn Vic missed the 40 point mark again. That’s like his 3rd time in the last few games. I’m happy that we won but I think Boston did a great job spreading our defense around. Our rotation wasn’t sharp and we didn’t do a good job on their 3 point shooters. We left their sharp shooters open to many times, we have to be smart about who to leave open or who NOT to leave open. Vic had a bad game when it came to turn overs, to many times he tried getting to cute with the ball. Can’t have 6 turnovers in the playoffs and expect to win. At full strength the Celtics are going to be a tough out! Good experience and good film for them to go study and see where they can improve if they see Boston down the road. GSG
I genuinely don’t understand the hate towards Fox. There is 1 thing that I don’t like about him is Wemby will be wide open and Fox won’t pass him the ball he has gotten better with that recently though. Other than that he’s great.
We Love Fox. Go Spurssssss Goooooo 🎉
I don't think I've seen a Spurs fan that doesn't like Fox, so kill that narrative. The worst thing you see him do is what everyone did Wemby's first year and that's just go into heroball mode too much at times and not look for the open 7' 6" monster that can move like a guard that he probably doesn't expect to be keeping up with him because it's absurd.
Fox is awesome – he is so crafty around the rim, can come up with steals, does a good job assisting, and most of all gives clutch baskets including 3's. Everyone in SA needs to thank Sacramento every game for giving us such a great guy.
Love Fox!!!
Replace that Knicks hat with a SPURS hat. Jump on the San Antonio bandwagon. Ginobliiiii!!!!!!!!! 🧢 🏀
Wembyyyyyy!!!!!!!😸
I love fox, we got a top 10 pg for nothing. Hes been passive to help the young guns but i trust him with the ball in the 4th Quarter.
We love Fox, we know eventually we might need to let him go in order to get Dylan Harper more time. But He is going to be pivotal this playoff run, and the next. After his contract is up who knows.
Spurs fan who loves Fox here. The crazy thing is that it has been easy to miss Fox at times this year, but it looks like he's amping it up getting ready for the playoffs, and when he's aggressive, it's really hard to beat the Spurs.
