Sorry this one is a mini tank because that sub pattern was HORRIBLE. If you were trying to keep players from being hurt Mazzulla you failed. Not your fault Scheierman, you should not have been handling that load. No that is ridiculous allowing ANYONE(with obvious exceptions) to be that open from three. Do better Mazzulla or just call game and move on.
No offense Adebayo is obviously a top flight player but honestly who should care but Miami fans(this is a "hawks were giving each other high fives" moment).
I think they need to stop wearing tights and t-shirts underneath their uniform. I don't like that look.
Tatum is averaging 26-9-5 per 36, and his efficiency issues are really just his threes not falling, and he is taking a lot like he usually does. He has been far beyond what any of us could have predicted, and his production right now, on a per 36 basis in 27 minutes per game is as good as just about any season of his career. And he looks better every game, even against a great defense like San Antonio. That minutes restriction, while a good idea, is the only thing really holding him back right now as he gets his conditioning up.
Hot take: Jaylen deserved the ejection. You can't yell and approach the refs while shoving your teammates out of the way and expect nothing to happen. No calls happen, Hauser smacked Wemby in the face and it wasn't called, and he kept his cool. I get that Jaylen feels it is a pattern throughout the season, and that the last Spurs game was also officiated heavily in the Spurs favor, but your teammates need you more than you need to get your frustration out. Save it for after the game, him not being in the second half severely limited our offensive capabilities and forced D White to be the number 1 with Tatum nit being able to play consistent minutes. It is especially maddening because it was just an out of bounds call with a missed light push in the back in a game where you had the lead in the second quarter, he just needs to be better. Only silver lining. I can think of is he might be rested well against OKC.

Jaylen has to be smarter than that. Your brother is still playing himself to shape, you are playing a top team. Vooch and Pritchard are injured. You are putting too much pressure on the rest. Just accept the calls and move on
I have a ton to say about this game, but I'll just say this..the NBA refs are a real problem. A lot of this could have been solved if Ford taps his chest and says, "that's my bad..it was a bad miss." but instead he takes no accountability and JB just keeps getting hotter and hotter. Yeah, JB should have stopped. But it's a lot easier for JB to pump the brakes if there's any accountability at all. Instead..the officials will tuck their tales and hide behind Adam Silver, because they know they won't take a shred of heat. Other than that, ggs, move on to OKC.

As a spurs fan from France watching the game from 1am to 3:30am I was mad at Brown for being ejected. That's robbed us from a very good game, and I am well aware that we (Spurs) may have loose this one.
As a Spurs fan, I wanted to see what the actual match up was like. I was pretty disappointed not seeing both the teams with their full lineup. The Spurs would have got a better learning experience with Brown in the game, regardless if the team won or loss.

I understand these kinds of videos are supposed to be biased, but this has no connection to reality.
1. Wemby scoring 39 pts, but they had a good defence against him… Would be interesting to see what kind of numbers it takes for the defence to be bad.
2. If a player is so unhinged that several people in his team have to restrain him (he even breaks free), then he can't be on the court.
3. You think Jaylen's ejection is unfair. But you don't even mention Wemby literally getting punched in the face, first by the hand and then the arm, all in the same motion (thought he'd broken his nasal bone). That gets nothing??? If that had happened to SGA, immediate ejection.

Spurs fan here. I find it interesting that you say the Cs played the best D on Wemby even though the stat line says otherwise. I will agree 6 TOs isn’t good but 5 came after the”No Call” punch in the face. (Great D I guess) Wemby even said it messed him up and he was bleeding . (I’m shocked he didn’t complain and get ejected) teams should just punch Wemby in the face the beginning of the game moving forward. But then again if it causes him to drop 40 a night, that might not work either. 😂
I hated that Brown got ejected, but he has no one to blame but himself. He got his point across after the 1st tech. He proceeded to go after the ref 2 MORE TIMES! Today's generation alawys blame everyone else for the things that they do. No personal accountability. No self control. If he would have let it go he wouldn't have gotten ejected. Point blank. Nobody's to blame but him.

It’s only one game, but Garza was completely out matched. 3-O-O in 24 mins is concerning. The try-hard Charlie hustle thing was completely ineffective.

Considering that Pritchard out and Brown got ejected , I thought that game was close . Tatum had 24 , but a lot of those shots missed looked like he was just teeing off and checking his legs . He’s had that one legged 3 pt attempt, which looked weird .
Spurs look good but closing out on all the other guys and letting Wemby tire himself would have won the game for the Cs .

People saying it was just a little push, it was however it was still a foul. It's clearly a build up for Brown, dude gets a bad whistle. However he should still keep his cool, can't leave it to the refs to make that decision

As a 50 year Celtics fan , I have to say I have never really been a fan of the NBA. It was actually the ABA that ,as a kid, drew my interest into basketball. Bring back the Spirit of the ABA please. the refs made the wrong call. it should have been a flop by Jaylen. not an out of bounds for the spurs. Jaylen was not supposed to argue for the opposing team, so the ref tossed him out.
Celtics will have to beat teams like SA and OKC if they want to be champs again. They also lost to Denver recently. They are really good but not enough to win it all, yet.
What jaylen lont his mind over was a little weak…he was nusged out of bounds it wasn't a dirty or dangous foul. Should it have been called? Yes he needs to have better emotional control. Especially when he is so needed in one of the most important regular season games. When we are short our 6th man of the year….when JT is only in his 3rd game after 10 months off. Leadership means the team comes first….who called the second tech is less important than JB putting it there hands to eject him.

I will just console myself with Cs having no Pritchard, no Vuc, no Jaylen for the second half (3 of their 5 best players) and Tatum on a minutes restriction and it still took an freakish 8 of 15 from 3 night from Wemby to really seal this one.
Brown had 8/7/2 in 14 minutes. Thats not "an MVP showcase game" cmon dude…
He flopped on a foul bait, got embarrassed and yelled at the ref for no good reason. No tech. He KEPT yelling in order to get the tech. They called it. HE FLIPPED OUT and would not stop being aggressive over NOTHING. They rightfully tossed him.
