Ajay needs to finish games at the very least, even at full health. If Lu were to stay on the starting 5, fine, but Ajay needs to be on the finishing 5. He offers everything we need down the stretch & makes things easier on SGA.
The Dort flagrant was so unbelievably stupid. YES I know he has a history of dumb shit, but this just Shows me just how unathletic NBA refs are. ANYONE who was EVER turned a corner at high speeds knows that your other arm gets involved in the action. ESPECIALLY because Nuggets were setting moving screens ALL GAME. I’ve never seen it this bad in an NBA game. Coupled with the fact that Dort was likely tired out of his ass, the arm swing is an entirely natural basketball play.
OKC’s roster is so stacked that whoever gets cut next year should be worth a future draft pick which brings up the possibility of perpetually replenishing the draft pool – every new player brought in on a rookie contract bumps a more expensive veteran off the roster usually in a trade resulting in more future draft picks. 🤗
