In drafting Darius Acuff Jr., the Mavs are selecting someone who could be the best point guard in this class–and they’re getting him at #7. On top of that, this team is getting someone who led the SEC in scoring and assists, while also shooting 44% from deep on almost nine attempts per 100 possessions. While Darius is one of the few guards in this class who does not require a screen to score, he could do nasty work in pick-and-roll looks with Flagg. Playing off of others would be no problem for him either, given that a large portion of his threes are assisted.
Mikel Brown vs Acuff might be the choice. Hope Dallas chooses wisely. A low efficiency scorer could set them back five years.

Out of all the top guards other than Peterson I want either Kingston or Wagler. I think both would fit here flawlessly
