the Rockets rely to much on KD. opposing teams game plan accordingly.
Udoka needs to be fired before the playoffs begin
Durant, Jabari, Reed and Eason are shooting 39% on 23 attempts per game. Its not horrible
Every Rockets draft including sengun are role players. Practically There’s no co star to KD in this team.
What keeps getting me is the league must be in really bad shape if this team is at the 3/4 spot in the West. Completely unfunctional in multiple facets.
Recent performance of team confirms that KD did actually posted those comments on twitter burner account. Sengun performance completely has lot to do with moral and his body language says a lot. He was great summer and first part of the season and all of sudden he has been bad lately. Sengun should seek trade options which will benefit him tremendously.
I’ve been saying for the longest the rockets play like their stuck in the early 2000s and that isn’t gonna win games when all the other teams are shooting 3s at a efficient rate
This team either needs VanVleet back or to go get another point guard. This team also needs to replace Udoka. He is a good coach but will always have a ceiling because he has no idea or desire to coach offense
The Rockets with Okogie as a starter: 18-9
The Rockets with Reed as a starter: 8-2
The Rockets with a starting five of Sengun, Smith Jr, Thompson, Eason, and Durant: 9-8
And Ime keeps running the last combination out there regardless of how many losses(many in embarrassing fashion on national TV) keep piling up.
ISO ball will never win anything! Sad to see a professional coaching staff that can't draw up any set plays. Maybe 2nd round but that's as far as this team is going.
That's one of the reasons i never wanted KD. All of those old clowns (LeBum, Embid) etc don't want to play back to backs. That's what our young players have to look up too. It trickles down. No surprise our bk 2 bk rec is putrid " this " szn. 🤦🏾♂️

Can u win in this NBA without a dominant D big man? Rockets getting murdered in paint and on boards. Anybody notice that maybe there is a strength conditioning problem w this team. They get pushed around. Thompson is less strong than last year or early this year.

3/4 seed with FVV/ADAM out, is not that bad, but sure playing like this where nobody cant shoot was sad to watch

I have one concern about how can we get rid of KD
KD is not a winner superstar. He is a role player of superstars
I wasn't a big fan of the KD trade even though I'm a KD fan. Losing Brooks was huge. Wish they went after Trey Johnson, Fears or Queen during the draft. And keep developing our young talent. We were No. 2 in the west last year.
I hope now people can stop clamoring for Reed. I say all the time he's Collin Sexton….Crazy that last year 2nd rounder Ajay Mithchell is a better player
KD the toxic ashole not helping when Alpi is one on one against a faster quciker guy. He just want to show Alpi cannot defend bla bla… and he want Alpi gianis trade so he intentionaly fuck Alpi up in games. Just look at position by position… KD can easily help on most of those, he is damn close but he just wines Alpi cannot defend both in game and after game…
At this point the whole mess is on Udoka.
After Durant’s embarrassing drama, the team completely lost its identity. One year later there’s still no chemistry, no structure, nothing. Amen looks cooked just another average player at best. Alpi looks cooked too, not even a reliable role player right now.
Durant has been playing awful basketball, but because he still drops points, all those clueless fan pages keep hyping him up like he’s carrying the team.
Not even Rafael could really control this situation or bring any stability. Now let’s see who the next scapegoats will be alongside KD. And let’s see how they’re going to manage all those contracts when the bill finally comes due.
