REPORT: Max Strus is CLOSE to returning to the Cavaliers; could play as early as Sunday

The Cleveland Cavaliers could be getting a key piece of their rotation back very soon. Reports indicate that Max Strus is close to returning to the Cavaliers’ lineup and could potentially be back on the floor as early as Sunday. For a team pushing toward the postseason and trying to maintain rhythm in the Eastern Conference, getting Strus back would be a significant boost to Cleveland’s depth, spacing, and overall offensive flow.

Strus brings a skill set the Cleveland Cavaliers rely on heavily — movement shooting, floor spacing, and high-energy perimeter defense. His ability to knock down threes and keep defenses honest opens the floor for stars like Donovan Mitchell and the rest of the Cavs’ offensive weapons. Beyond the shooting, Strus has become a glue guy in Cleveland’s system, doing the little things that don’t always show up in the box score but help keep the offense humming and the defense connected.

If Strus is able to return this weekend, it could give the Cleveland Cavaliers a much-needed rotation boost as they continue to position themselves for a deep playoff run. Getting healthy at the right time is critical in the NBA, and having Strus back in the mix would allow Cleveland to tighten up its rotations, improve spacing, and regain one of the key role players who helps this team operate at its best.

  1. I'm afraid there's no fixing this team. They'll continue to beat up on the bad teams and can't compete with good teams. They are the knicks.

  2. Dean Wade scores 0 more than he scores 10 but Jason wants to start him in playoffs. Then says you can’t play someone who can’t make shots. Make it make sense
