Good for Bam. Wow, I actually AGREE with Steven A on this one ??? It's not Bam's fault The Wizards are trash. Just like Smith said. He normally averages 16 pts a game. So something was clearly wrong for Washington when he scored 31 in just the first quarter? 32 would have been literally DOUBLE his career average for whole entire games. Make defensive adjustments early or even unlikely guys can & will break NBA all time records against you. Sure, the last few buckets were unorthodox or forced. So what? Once he reached 70 pts (legitimately) I can't blame anyone for helping him make basketball history. Remember when Klay Thompson scored 35 pts in a single quarter? EVERYONE passed him the ball, each possession. His teammates were comically scared to shoot. They'd get boo'ed and chased out of town for not feeding the hot hand. Those clips are still all over YouTube, see for yourself. They were clearly "padding" Klay and the arena loved it. This is entertainment after all … and I think Bam certainly entertained. Congratulations Adebayo !!!

I salute 🫡 BAM for his accomplishment, because Mike Beasley recently said the only person who beat him 1 on 1 was Bam. Yeah I get it that it was against the Washington Lizards. However how many of you scrubs scored 83 points during a game. It is what it is 💯🫡

"Records are meant to be broken". In the normal course of a game, a player will not score more than 60 points. Once you score over 65 points, the team is doing all they can to help you get more points. Once he got to certain level, his team was assisting him, but he still had to make the shots. You better believe the team assisted Wilt and Kobe to score more than 80 points. Secondly, a lot of NBA player's pride or arrogance will not let anyone be celebrated but themselves. That is why a player has a HARD time admitting someone else is as good or better than they are. Congratulations to BAM.

As a professional and should be a competitor in the 4th with the trash spoelstra and obviously bam and the team agreed to any real competitor would have the respect and pride to say im not gonna be a part of this, if it happens it happens.. to me at that point 40 freethrows playing a trash professional team scoring 83 would’ve been a real accomplishment.. this isn’t.. had an excellent game at the end of the third.. i would’ve went for the record to but he lost it with the lack of respect truly earning something gives.. obvious proof of why the nba is sad and has fallen so far from grace
