  1. He went 10 for 27 the last three quarters. They did stop him. He got put on the line to shoot 43 free throws. There's no doubt in my mind that some of those calls could have been let go. BTW what would you say if he got hurt badly trying to chase a "record" in a blowout 🤔

  2. this game was a joke, embarrassing. good effort by bam. record is a sham. exibition game…the generals played their part well.

  3. Sarr accepted the match up and made it harder for Bam to make shots but once an nba player is hot out the gates like that it’s hard to stop, It was mostly the 3’s and freethrows that he hurt the wizards and the bad fouls but they had no choice

  4. Bam should be congratulated on the record, he's #2 now, but that was ugly basketball from both teams. The heat let the wizards score 129 points. The game was an embarrassment for the league.

  5. Carry what around? I don't think Washington cares.
I mean Jalen Rose is basically known for letting Kobe Bryant score 81 points and it didn't hurt him. Now you have 20 players in the NBA named Jalen.

  6. The hate for Bam is coming from people upset he surpassed Kobe. Who mind you doesn't hold the record either. A guy who isn't an offensive juggernaut goes for 83 is probably more impressive than a top 10 player doing it.😅

  7. Ya washingtons a shit show, but if you are really so biased you cant see that nba reg season games are a farce and the quality is shit, then You the fool

  8. How many games this year has a team scored less than 83? Just curious … I know it’s not the 90’s but there has to be a couple …

  9. Something I haven’t seen mentioned anywhere is the Wilt game was supposedly this way too. Obviously there’s no tape, but the reporting goes that was aiming for 100 after a hot start and his teammates were feeding him and the game was out of control almost immediately thereafter. So fair play as far as I’m concerned.

  10. MORE PERSPECTIVE

Someone in media once made late Kobe Bryant aware that someone had scored 137 points in a game

    KOBE RESPONSE:
How many points did the team score?

    ANSWER:
    171 points

    KOBE'S PERSPECTIVE:
I don't care how he got it –

    THAT'S IMPRESSIVE!!!!

TO SCORE 137 POINTS IN A GAME….I DON'T CARE HOW HE GOT IT

If it was easy – then everyone could and would do it.

    Appreciate
    'don't hate'

  11. Passed Wilt and Kobe. 🎉 Bam was hot ,it was his night. Records are meant to be made n broken😂

  12. Loved the Bam take,

How is Jaylen brown losing steam in the MVP race for integrating Tatum back,

But Luka goes up the chart despite it being clear he can’t play with LeBron James

  13. I don't ever want to hear anyone ever say again that modern NBA players are more skilled defensively then the past players. 83 points is great, but going 7 for 22 in threes and having 43 free throw attempts that were just Bam charging into guys and getting a call shows how poor the product and reffing is in modern NBA.
