And what did I say before ? We needed an all star center at break . It didn’t happen, now this team will be lucky to make the playoffs the way there playing . Magic and heat are Gunna pass them
Anyone been around long enough to remember the Vancouver Grizzlies? I watched that team be managed and coached into the ground. Didn't trade for Steve Nash when they had the chance. Never signed any true star. Drafted a player that didn't want to come to Vancouver then refused to play. Couldn't keep their big man from going home and getting fat and flabby every summer… Ended up with a shallow roster that was coached soft and played soft. The Raptors are now about as fun to watch as those Grizzlies. It is going to take a lot to get the roster corrected and build a team that is disciplined and aggressive for 48 minutes. Ain't going to happen this year.
barnes and BI after being in the all star become just a average level player..makes me wonder if they were just playing with heart just to go to the all star??

i’m entirely disappointed, we need to learn from our mistakes and treat our position in the seed with more respect. maybe open up some rosters, especially like temple – he can attend games but he doesn’t have to take a roster in place of someone useful, when i watch other teams i can see the amount of aggression compared to the raptors.
nice. good early season just how we play games – good early on, lost our 5th seed to the magic and heat.. if we could make a comeback it would be a miracle but that’s if they take the position seriously and make it out of the play ins, rip play offs.
I suppose CMB is out and I like Mamu, but this team has no bench, is undersized and could use a shooter or two. Currently in the play-in and that's honestly where they should be. The vibes must be awful.
Scottie is playing soft. Too many 3s. Playing like last year. Needs to bring the energy. Would like to see him and B.I. pump each other up more. No excitement between them when they’re on the floor together. Also would like to see Darko run more post plays for B.I. to prevent him from dribbling so much.

Still time to tank. Dallas got lucky late in lottery. Rest up the stars and give Gradey some run before we make decision on him. When CMB returns start him at PF
It's not Darko, it was the trade deadline. They found out only Scottie is untouchable and the whole team spirit collapsed. That's what happens when you swing big and fail to do anything, all they did was make everyone feel unwated. Better hope they can do something in the summer.

This is where a good vet(Kyle) would be nice. There’s no one that can talk life into these guys. No one is calling anyone else out. I want some anger some frustration, no one should be comfortable with this. But temple isn’t the right bet for this situation. 5, seems to be developing with the team. Maybe add some experience as an assistant coach.

Scottie has been trash for the last month. This bum should have never been given a max contract.
They are as good as in the play and will be an early out. Charlotte, Atlanta, Miami, and Orlando all playing better Too small and can't shoot the 3's. Darko is in over his head. Battle comes in the game last night hits a 3 and never sees the ball again then is subbed out.
Relax. There is so much talent in the org. that there is bound to be disorganization. This season will be about the play-in and see how far they can go.
But this team is going to gel next season. And management will step up with the required trades.
But just dwell for a minute on what has been added just this year. Tons of talent.
Something going on behind the scenes internally
The way the team has played lately and the way the team has played against
top teams all year has actually now taken away the frustration
because it's clear that even if they make the playoffs they
will lose in the first round.
So it doesn't seem to matter anymore if they end up in the playin games
and don't make the playoffs.
We’re in limbo again. Fire the coach, hire another unproven yes man coach, fire Bobby hire a yes man gm, while making playin/playoffs revenue. Riding it out with this crap roster then blame Scottie and blow it up. Rinse and repeat. Never ownership
