Nugs have actually looked great the past three games against contenders. If they can stay healthy, they can make a deep playoff run. The bench is still KILLING them though. Look at starters versus backups in the +/- of the Spurs game.
I have no idea why Carter Bryant only played a few minutes despite his impact and husstle. Thank you for pointing out the late adjustment.

Great analysis of this game.
No doubt both Jokic and Murray were amazing but I think the key to the game was the way Cam Johnson and Christian Braun played. In a lot of respects they've been missing in action this year (party due to injuries). If they play the way they did v the Spurs the Nuggets are going to terrorize some teams come playoff time.
Adelman tried to throw the game with that Tyus, Thj, strawther, Bruce, Jokic look. Only reason this was a game (obviously wemby is out I mean this game in a vacuum)
To go through this recap as if Denver beat a full Spurs team is criminal. Those shots Murray “hit” are DOA when Victor is playing. You need to balance this recap out and make it clear. Who cares that you don’t care that he was out. You Nugget glaze is terrible.
Altogether, I liked how the team played. We have proven in our first two games against Denver that we can beat them without Wemby. We beat them in our first matchup and should have in this one if we executed better down the stretch. But give Denver lots of credit since they made several tough shots down the stretch to win this game.
Jamal Murray deserves All-NBA conversation? Come on, he is a lock. He is 11th in points per game and 9th in assists per game. He should be guaranteed All NBA 2nd team this year. The only players that are top 10 in both categories are Jokic, Luka, Cade, and Jamal basically. He could easily get to tenth in points per game as he is only .2 points back.
