Hey G.V. personally I wouldn't put to much into JK's come back .its like prior time with Warriors. I think he's a very cautious guy about his health. His confidence will return on his knee issue. Just like most injured players that have come back. Example K. Leonard. Also K. Irving said that he was not coming back until he 1000% sure.š
Agreed
Alot of excuses
This is the kind of game Kerr always wanted from JK⦠virtually no shooting (SGA wouldāve had 10 free throws off those shot attempts) and 9 rebounds, just blending in on offense and defense. More concerned about the knee swelling for the play-in and playoffs
glad you pointed these out. i saw these obvious no call fouls too. some are ticky tack but one caused him to go horizontal in mid air. kerr calling in favors? maybe need a kuminga no call foul compliation video by season end.
Heās playing hurt, this is what most guys play like when they are still injured. I commend him for playing through, I think he needs to learn to fortify his mental to play through injury regardless because it definitely gets easier to learn which adjustments you need to make to play well in these situations.
That said, he did make a difference where he could and he made adjustments when he found his performance fell short. Heās only 23, as long as he get consistent minutes, this will look better.
Iās be more concerned about the players who werenāt injured and who also werenāt playing well with more minutes than Kuminga had, thatās a bigger problem that will also be ironed out over time.
JK is not going to get the same calls as SGA. Hes great in transition, but struggles in the half court. Steve wasn't wrong and Dunleavy traded him.
JK had TWO points! 𤣠Look, y'all root for whoever y'all wanna root. I have zero problem with that. But player hype didn't help JP and it won't help JK. I never bought into the JK hype. He has a long way to go to evolve, if he evolves at all. Not hating here, just tired of hypes. I'm 100% ok with JK being traded away. My only problem is getting KP as a result.
And, yes, I do critize Kerr for how he has been coaching the team. But I would never blame him for this JK saga alone. Maybe some of it, but I blame JK a lot more.
Let's see how things go on a LONG run at Atlanta. That's what I've been saying from the beginning: a 20 points game and a couple of dunks mean nothing.
Again, not hating on JK. But I can't accept that he was a good fit for the Warriors. I haven't heard a single convincing argument about that. I still think Kerr is a problem too. I won't be surprised if he leaves at the end of this season. But the bottom line is JK issues go way beyond Kerr.
JK picked up some bad habits from Jimmy Butler in his attempt to āfit inā at GS. JK has to stop trying to bait foul call and play through the contact. Also, get the ball survey the defense, get in your bag and cook.
What about the turnovers driving in the paint as usual, the multiple fouls not called on his defense, the fact he stays in the corners completly uninterested of whatās happening? Do you think he is gonna be happy being a spot up shooter in the corner? Of course he can score 30 when he has a lot of opportunities in the open floor vs a bad defense but otherwise⦠the only good thing is the rebounds number, which was asked for 4 and 1/2 years in GS and he never bothered to even try. He has potential but if he keeps relying only on his athleticism, he will never be a good player and will have more and more injuries as he ages
Delusional cope. He had a bad game š
Soon yāall will realize Kuminga is just a bench role player nothing more!!!
We're happy that JK is finally free and happy. His performance is still the same even if he had a bad game.
Was Jonathan Kuminga mishandled by the Warriors, or is he just not that guy? Let me know.
im just curious where all the shit talkers are about how GSW missed out, they overreact about one game and now he's bad a game, they go silent….chirp chirp chirp …
I said previously in a video just wait until the end of the season to see where heās at. I got scrutinized. All being said, in a good or bad way. Letās for JK time to show us what he can do. I hope he does but Chad why I said wait until the end of the season before coming up with a decision.
JK starting to get caught up in that Atlanta underground bisexual scene
After tn Kuminga and Kristaps will have played the same amount of games for their respective teams, not too significant but interesting nevertheless.
You should rename your channel "JK BJs."
JK is doing great and if what you summarize is the approach by the training staff is doing to prevent further injury that is also great news. Looking forward to seeing the Hawks mess and get out the playin for the rest of the season. I think its possible with a little luck .
It's simple. He got hurt after them dnps and finally playing. So once he went out for injury, he wasn't able to practice with the team. The whole team shot bad. Kuminga will be good
STEVE KERR, 5 time champion as a player 4 time champion as a coach ! And we had to hear from these stupid ass NBA talking heads that Kuminga was the second coming and Steve Kerr didnāt know what he was talking about. Now I will watch as JK rots in Atlanta! Like everything else that leaves Stephen Curryās legacy!
IM A WARRIORS FAN I TOLD EVERYONE HES TOO FLAWED TO DEPEND ON. Heās an off brand Kawhi Leonard
Give him 15 or 20 games at least, š Hawks fan here we are not puzzled dude don't even know the system yet we got off KP ššš
I have watched every single Warriors games for the past almost 10 seasons. And I can certainly tell you that based on what I saw from his career in the warriors. He is not what he thinks he is. Yes he is extremely athletic but thatās about it. The downside is pretty obvious, he doesnāt have the consistency of shooting the basketball, he doesnāt have the awareness of the court/lack of basketball IQ, he doesnāt know when to dish out the ball or attack the rim, thatās why you always see him shooting awkwardly in the paint. His defense is absolutely awful as well. I hope he succeeds tho but based on his 5 years of professional basketball, I donāt see much yet.
the Warriors wanted to overlook Kuminga's shortcomings, he played with Butler but didn't pick up Butler's flair for drawing fouls — Warriors management got frustrated, your frustrated Im frustrated pretty much sums up the state of the world, no ones budging
He really didnāt get aggressive he rebounded well and shouldāve had more asst but they missed some open layups and shots. He played within the flow for the most part although he forced a couple of drives. If he were being selfish and going for his numbers then it would be an issue the kid canāt win for losing with the hating ass gsw fans and guys who donāt actually watch the game and just look at stats
Kuminga plays well against teams without set defenses. He plays great in transition but struggles in half court sets. He will excell against bad teams but not so good against good teams. Hes also injury prone and disapears at times.
This dude dribbling the air out of the ball as an unproven backup. As a Hawks fan, I actually like him being aggressive, but unless he is going for a clear drive, he needs to pass (or shoot if he's open), that is Quin's 0.5 second rule. Everyone else follows it, except him (in these moments, at least).
He takes bad shots against doubles and hoping for a whistle to bail him out, on top of his ball-handling skills not being that good in the first place, he needs to stop trying to iso.
We will see more fireworks from JK. Better coaching. Go Hawks!
šššyall really been hyping this man as if Kerr and the dubs was holding him back šš naaaaah bro has an ego bigger than his game but gives effort the size of mini me from Austin Powers š¤£š¤£. Poole was the same way you casual fans hype these NON PROVEN players up making them think they can run a team when the team (The Warriors) is what made them look good from jump. JK and JP are not great players just average
Still waiting for him to have a good game against a quality opponent.
Let me get this straight. Kumimga has a bone bruise in his knee.
A knee bone bruise (bone contusion) is a painful injury involving microfractures in the bone, often caused by direct impact, twisting, or hyperextension. It causes deep, aching pain and swelling, typically requiring 4ā8 weeksāsometimes monthsāto heal. Treatment focuses on RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) and avoiding activity.
Key Aspects of Knee Bone Bruise Recovery
Healing Timeline: While minor bruises heal in a few weeks, severe cases can take several months. The injury can be slow to heal because the damage is within the bone.
Treatment:
Rest: Avoid intense activity and sports for 3 to 5 days, or longer if directed.
Ice: Apply cold packs for 15 minutes several times a day to reduce swelling.
Elevation: Keep the knee above the heart to reduce swelling.
Support: A brace, splint, or crutches may be used to limit movement and weight-bearing.
He rested the knee for a month or so was traded.
Played 3 games for ATL and went crazy. Then missed 2 weeks with a swollen knee due to the bone bruise not being healed completely.
Did what it says you have to do for bone bruise swelling which is ICE
Didnt practice at all because thats part of the treatment plan, is outta shape because of the treatment plan.
Came back this game you are referring too against BKN looked like he is outta shape, looked like he hasnt pacticed, looked like the knee is still bothering him. But played with effort regardless. And folks say it was a bad game ass if he was supposed to have a good game under those circumstances ššš
Unrealistic expectations at its best. Basketball players are still actual human beings last I checked.
Some people will look for any reason at all to say see I told you so. Not knowing all the facts.
Before the 1st three games he played for the Hawks he actually practiced. He didnt just drop down in Atl suit up with no practice time and play.š
Clown Activity š¤”
The reality yall be desperate for content so you make a video about nothing. Bruh has only played 4 games. Calm yall asses down lol
It was just 1 game and it was vs the Nets
We win as a team! Not based on 1 person. JK will be fine in due time. Let's go Hawks!ā¤
Na, this is kuminga. Been saying, decision making is horrible, he used to not pass to a wide open curry for 3, just to force a bad shot over a double team.
JK is too soft, he's always injured and missing games
So he is basically doing the same dumb stuff he was doing in GSW
2 pts trash
Back down to earth
Y'all are going to owe Steve kerr and the warriors an apology when y'all find out he is trash, I see it already, most of y'all are in denial.
Loud and clear Swish. We have launch. Glad Snyder & staff know about young players and the need to "burn in." You really donāt know what Santa brung until you unwrap the presence!
He looked hurt honestly and the team was out of sync without Daniels.
Dudes blazing after 1 game haters so weird
We can rightfully talk all about how JK was mismanaged by Kerr BUT as someone who watched every single Golden State game that he played in, this performance is more likely what you should expect as opposed to those games against the Wizards. Granted he is coming off of injury, but his performance was nearly identical to most games he had in Golden State. He's indecisive on offense and looks lost on defense. However to give him credit he did grab rebounds, something Golden State was begging him to do for years
Sound like excuses
Low IQ
Low key kinda felt like the ball wasn't flowing his way this game. Kinda felt like CJ bout his shots this game. š
Too many JK videos..He's a solid athletic 6th man off the bench. Until he proves it in the playoffs and defends, then we'll talk!
