  1. Love Ayo. He really pushes the pace and leads to easy buckets. This was a great move. I also like adding SLO mo. He’s the quintessential team player and can play some defense in the paint

  2. Not just the defense (directs switches / rotations even). but the pace he's creating after, now minnys going on transitions quicker.
    Such a good addition!
    #3 MIN vs #6 LAL.
L.A in 5! All over again!

  3. Ayo is going to take all of Bones minutes, and I'm all for it. Having a bench guard that isn't going to be targeted on defense in the playoffs is a massive upgrade.

  4. Only question long-term is whether he can be a starting PG. Current use does not require running O or creating for others with playmaking (not just D). Ayo has made our bench and transition game so much better.

  5. They listened to you from a week ago saying Jaden should be off the ball more 😝

Letting Ayo be the point-of-attack defender against smaller quicker guards so Jaden can be the low man and protect the paint when necessary is a major improvement for their defense, especially when Rudy is off the floor.

  6. I have coworkers that are huge Bulls fans. And they are still mad that they traded Ayo. He is the perfect fit for us. Adds toughness, shot making, dribbling ability and speed off the bench

  7. I think the way he’s been playing has def had an impact on the team as a whole. Ant talked about how he’s gotta dial in on playing hard defense every game and we know that he talks the talk and walks the walk. #WolvesUp

  8. It's so weird that Minnesota has managed to have like 4 straight season with a top 5 defense and only now are we figuring out, "hey, what if we, like, tried to score points every time we get a stop instead of just lazily walking up the court and allowing them to reset?"

  9. Thank you for pointing out that Randle and Naz don't box out. It's incredibly frustrating. Especially how if Randle is not under the basket he starts walking casually towards the other end of the court as soon as a shot goes up. So he's not in position for a rebound or to cut off a defender leaking out in transition.

  10. I’m not saying, the bulls didn’t value him…BUT… it seemed in the beginning of every year they would not give him the minutes. I think they were looking for one of their first rounders to step up, like Patrick Williams…but his play forced them to play him. It’s nice that fresh eyes are seeing him now and how good he really is.

  11. I can't believe the improvement in our bench from before the trade deadline. Ayo AND Slo-Mo? it's fucking beautiful. Slo-Mo is so key to those no Rudy minutes, and you put out Bones and and Ayo and the speed is coming. Fucking love it.

  12. The other Western teams have to be bumming out with how well Ayo has fit in with the Wolves. Plus, he is really fast on the court. I hope the Wolves can keep him.

  13. its funny we thought we had such a deep team with drafting dilly and tj. now our team is deep with the return of slomo and adding ayo and getting rid of dilly

  14. the thing is why its so good is because ayo and slomo know what they are doing and dilly and tj dont
