The NBA canceled Magic City Monday Night for the Atlanta Hawks — an event featuring T.I., lemon pepper
wings, and Magic City merch — and Cam Newton is calling the league out as flat-out hypocritical. Cam breaks
down the NBA’s double standards while being careful to clarify what this debate is really about.

    If I was another strip club, I would have thrown a log in that fire to burn that up. I wouldn’t need magic city to be that damn popular. We got girls here too! lol.

    I get the dancers aren’t supposed to be there but saying a strip club is apart of your “culture” is sad. Whoring and stripping shouldn’t be celebrated as part of your culture imo but Ayy that’s just me

    Why do they hate some much on Atlanta. It's like they don't want ATL to have anything even down to a superbowl and I have been here all my life. I'm from the old ATL like 559 and when it was call Hotlanta!!! Also cam we need you as QB, please don't make me start a petition to get you as QB. Because I will!!! 🤟🏿One love

    Cam would speak on this nonsense, since it’s been said one of his children’s mom came from this industry. I live in Georgia, & that is not what I’m saying. Magic City is a staple to ppl like him, not everyone. Yes, you are trying to showcase it. Everything can just name has age limits. Drinking, drugs, & gambling etc. you have to be a certain age to indulge. Therefore, so is a stripper club, you have to be a certain age to indulge. Cam stop it.. You want to know the real reason, go ask the commissioner. Also, a lot of ppl per protesting this, there is your difference.

    I’m someone who is unaffected, either way… but the nba canceled the sponsor… not T I.. those are distinctly different.

    If you're an adult and you think Magic city Monday was cool. You shouldn't have kids because you don't understand that some things just are not for kids point blank period.

    Born and raised in Atlanta…. But left city cause I couldnt raise my sons in such a GREAT place….whose popularity went from birth of Civil Rights to Magic City. Strippers shouldn't be the legacy. I encourage visitors to see the King center, museums, and support black entrepreneurs.

    The NBA I believe is not getting a percentage of anything like the 160 million it gets from gambling. Guaranteed if something was going to their bottom line the event would still be on.
