Being March has nothing to do with Giddey playing so well. In early quarter of season he was averaging an almost 20 point triple double prior to his multiple injuries. He is still not 100% healthy and playing this well…
P.s. giddey doesn't chase after triple doubles. This is just his natural game. He organically impacts the game in diverse facets…

The Goat is a freaking hater. Giddey not being a #1 option on a playoff team is not his fault. He is a #3 on a play off team and Matas needs to find a way of growing to #1 or 2 and we need to find the other #1 or 2 either in free agency or in the draft… giddey is paid like a 5th best player on a play off team
Normally agree with the conservative nature of of Gottlieb when it comes to GIddey but today seems just kind of hateful. Giddey did indeed have a hard time getting separation in off the dribble 3s but lets have some context here, this is something completly new to his game that is currently developing and its a giant step forward this year.PWill has totally fried our ability as Bulls fans to contextualize development cause there is no way he was gonna go from not even trying to do that to what we are seeing. Not to mention questioning if Giddey could be competitive, lets be honest with ourselves here, this was Mata's game to win. He was given the shots and they just didnt land againts one of the currently hottest team in the NBA. This isnt me shitting on Matas btw he is still my favorite player with the most upside but lets not pretend Giddey couldnt be in a really good team next to a star i feel like he is showing more and more that he can be, including today cause in spite of Matas not being efficient and in spite of playing with AK's team wich can only be described as “a band of misfit toys.” this was a close game till the end when they ran out of gas .
Some way or another you guys can never be satisfied with how Giddey performs. Always an open ended comment . Dude makes 25 mil a year he’s a hell of a bargain I don’t understand this pod anymore you guys are tough some nights. He’s proven his self game after game. The dude is not hunting for triple doubles he just does it. It’s how he always plays he’s just becoming more efficient. You guys bashed him about his 3s now he can shoot , you talk about him not scoring well he’s been scoring at an efficient rate . And to bash his triple doubles is crazy . You can just watch the games on how elite he’s on rebounds. That’s the stat that gets overlooked because he does it on a daily basis .The assist and scoring is him doing his part as a PG and running a team. His free throws this year is a career high 4.5 attempts a game that’s been increasing. Give this guy Kessler walker and a hopefully a top 2 pick this year and you will see him boom.
