Never have I ever been happy to hear "Pacers lose" at the very top of a Locked in Pacers episode! π
We all know great things are coming next season…πͺπΎ Tank, baby, tank!!
They were getting great shots from the tip and for 3 quarters and not hitting them. Usually going to lose shooting 39%. The fact they were getting good shots minus the 4th quarter was encouraging. At least it wasn't embarrassing like some these have been lately.
When Nesmith gets cooking and Zu gets acclimated LπK OUT π Hopefully there is some room in the tank to rip 3 or 4 in a row coming down the stretch.
Definitely a fun game. It was great to see TJ play like himself. He was on fire. Nesmith's poster that shook the whole basket. π¬ He had a really nice and one as well. Although Brunson was good in the first half, Nesmith and Nembhard's defense had him looking gassed in the second half. Zubac's screening is absolutely elite. He completely removes defenders from the play. Some of them are comically ruthless. Really enjoying watching Walk's game evolve. His development is the key for the rest of the season.
Entertaining game! Can't wait to for the game when P comes back to add to the mix with Z! I think Fans shouldn't focus on the L's, but instead the development. Don't want fans to be overly bummed if they don't get the pick, as they have almost as good a chance not to as to get. Thanks Tony for a wonderful podcast!
Sunday should be very interesting seeing Z go up against Myles! Don't want to miss that one. π
Bro, I give you, Quinn Buckner, Chris Denari, and people alike so much respect for still riding with the Pacers even though they're down in the dumps. I'm heading to Indianapolis this week for a trip that has been planned for a long time. One of the main plans outside of visiting family was to attend another Pacers game, but I can't seem to find the motivation to buy tickets at this point. I can barely watch the games on TV because I feel like I have nothing to root for. Do I even want them to win at this point? Not really, especially if losing could improve our chances for next year, even by just 1%.
Zu our "prized" acquisition GOT OWNED by a Mitch Robinson at exactly what Zu was supposed to improve for us. He looked terrible last night. BTW here is your regular reminder that Mauthrin is BALLING w/ the Clippers. We really threw him away with 2 first rounders for ZU who "fits" considerably WORSE then Benn ever did. π€¦π€·π
