The Kings don't want a top lottery pick cause they would rather win a few meaningless games.
Right now DC is running for the worst coach that ever was allowed to coach in the NBA. He Couldnt win at the start of the season, has 0 idea how to distribute the playing time among the young players and now is ruining the Kings drafting chances.

This team refuses to commit to any plan or line of thought.
When they're mediocre, they refuse to rebuild and double down on medicrity instead. When they're terrible, they refuse to properly tank.
Good luck to us with getting like the 6th pick in this draft… Will probably take a 24 year guy to win now next season.

Cardwell played instead of Eubanks. Devin Carter should play instead of Russ because his pick & Roll with Max is too good. Monk, carter, & Murray & 2 future first round picks for Trey Murphy iii. Resign Russ & Precious. Get Andre Drummond & John collins in FA. Trade Sabonis to Chicago or Toronto. Next year’s starting 5 Russ, DeRozen, Trey

I swear if they end up with like a 6..7..8th pick that would be absolutely devastating after the type of season we’ve had and yes, I know you can still get a really good player but to not get at least like a top five pic would be devastating….. especially with all the super high talent projected to be in the top 4 or 5
Picking up meaningless wins at the end of this season means absolutely nothing. I don’t understand how ownership could possibly let this happen… they have stepped in and made decisions so many times well this is one of those times.. I don’t care about the optics or winning culture if we look back on this draft in a few years and once again have to reminisce about all the star players we missed out on I don’t know if I can take it ha ha I hope I’m wrong. but all we’ve had all season is that picked to look forward to and now they’re even ruining that.

I like what Gm Scott Perry and Coach Christie are doing.
You want to see improvements, particularly from young draft picks and free agents.
Max, Clifford, Precious, and Plowden look like nba players.
Cardwell seems like a potential defensive ace.
Russ, Demar, and Malik have been great for the younger players, both on and off the court.
I think what they are doing is trying to show their younger players the importance of competition and professionalism.
It might work if Coach Christie is the right leader.
About time for the "trade the pick" talk begin!

The kings are ridiculous. The only saving grace was we were ahead in the tank. And now they've messed it up. Awful.
You know how I knew that Kyle & Jimmy were trouble? Their Christmas gift to The Empire in 2017 when they decided to pass up on draft positioning for a "meaningless win". This is not even in the same stratosphere as that. It's been 8 years going on 9 since the Suns drafted Ayton. Coincidence? Absolutely not. Adam Silver probably has a dart board with The Kings logo on it that he uses daily. I honestly think the wins will help our Cause come draft time. But you're absolutely right Hammer. If a major market, like say I dunno? Brookyln. Has the worst record then I can easily see Adam Silver breaking the trend & giving them the #1.
Really hyped for Dbo & Brodie to get a win on their home soil. Homecoming games. They matter.

The thing that I haven't been able to figuree out is if DC should remain as the coach….he has had this team for virtually 2 seasons but at every turn he has an excuse for the team not doing well.
You have said before that he has been given carte blanch to win regardlesss…is that why for the last 3 monhs we've been asking the same thing, not just today: why is Westbrook and DeRozen playing 35 min?
