Bam’s 83-Point Night Was Hideous AND Brilliant | Coach Nick Breaks It Down
Bam’s 83-point night looked like a circus in those final minutes, but the more I watched, the more I realized both teams were running real end-game tactics in the middle of a blowout.
Missing free throws on purpose. Backcourt fouls to stop the clock. Double teams on the perimeter. These are all things you normally see when a game is on the line, not when you’re up 20.
The Wizards were actually making smart adjustments too. Fouling a different Heat player so Bam couldn’t get to the line. Aggressively denying him the inbound. It turned into a genuine chess match, just with a completely absurd scoreboard attached to it.
Hideous basketball? Sure. But there was real strategy underneath it.

Exactly how Kobe played lol
Why are people more upset for him chasing a record than a team tanking? Wizards deserved this. Everyone’s acting like all players need to genuflect to Kobe’s legacy. Kobe, the notorious “do it my way” and “me first” type of player. Bam also set the record for most points after the 1st quarter. He was hot as Hades
So..
Exactly how Kobe did it?
Not only did Kobe do this, but Kobe's last game, he had 60 pts on 50 FGA. These games always look like this. Shout-out to Bam, 83 is 83
Kobe fans getting mad at a player because hes taking jumpshots while tripled teamed is genuinely the most ironic thing ever, next theyre gonna be mad at a player that chokes and *apes a women
“Like how Kobe did it?” Sybau in the comment section
Bam adebayo is a bum, he didn’t score a single point tonight in the 4th quarter vs the magic when the team needed him the most. That’s what you get an overrated and a bum player.
bam with the 83 that cool and its easy to score when the team is so trash it not even funny
One way to stop it triple team Bam
Kobe did NOT play like this during his 81 point game. I saw that game. It was nothing like the 4th quarter of the Bam game.
Wilt’s 100 may have been more like the Bam game. This is why Wilt is rarely in the GOAT conversation, despite his otherworldly stats.
There’s a reason why Kobe, even with his warts and inefficiency, is so respected by fans.
