Never thought I’d say this but that’s my coach!
Great take by Mazzulla there. Brown was giving the crew chief an earful for the non-call (and rightfully so – he was pushed out of bounds)…Brown deserved the technical from the crew chief. But then the alternate ref runs over from 50 feet away and gives him a second tech. Thus the hall monitor comment.
JB can’t get a call, but Bam Adebayo shoots 50 free throws last night. The refs need to be investigated

I'm a Spurs fan, and I like Jaylen Brown a lot, but the call he was looking for was marginal at best. He hurt his team by crashing out that hard over it. One T, sure, you made your point. Going back for more was way too much, and Mazzulla had to come out and stop him from getting himself a suspension to boot.

I don't know what Jaylen Brown's been dealing with as far as calls in other games, but this game had a lot of missed calls and not biased toward one team or another. It happens. Going nuclear on the refs like that, knowing he would get tossed, only let his teammates down.
Calling an official a hall monitor shows why his boy got booted.
He didn’t crash out. He stood up for what’s right. More people need to do this and maybe the awful officiating will get fixed.
When you compare the feather like push he got vs the brutal smack on Wemby's face that almost broke his nose and wasn't sanctioned either?
Hauser tried to break Wemby's nose on a play where he wasn't remotely going for the ball.
Did Wemby crashout? Nope, just went for 39 after missing most of the 1st q.

Jaylen Brown should have recieved a flagrant foul for shoving the little girl in the Castle jersey in the front row.
The reffs were bad they ruined a good game with 2 Good teams.
Also the Celtics and spurs coaches are amazing. 2 young teams with great young talent. Its beautiful to see

Brown got a soft push and flopped himself out of bounds in hopes to sell the call. Almost hurting a little girl when he raged out, literally frothing at the mouth spitting on himself.
The dude is a disgrace and the NBA should be suspending him. I have no respect for Boston, Brown or their coach after this.
Ref missed a call, JB probably deserved the tech for his reaction, then after blowing the tech you have to allow for a little bit of a reaction from that… you can’t just eject people for reacting.. JB is a top talent in the league with a finals mvp. Leave your ego at the door refs. Anyone defending the refs is soft.
Jalen Brown getting ejected for throwing a temper tantrum at the refs because he didn't get the call he wanted really sucks for the Celtics. If he could've just played ball instead, Celtics might have won the game. If anything, Celtic fans should be upset with him instead of the refs.

There's taking up for a player and there's signaling to the league that you're petty and immature as a leader. The latter will let the players know that it's ok to do it again…maybe in a game 7. We gave up way too many wide open threes. Cant allow Wemby to have a shooting drill session in the middle of a big game like that & expect to win.

Nothing wrong to express frustration to refs, but keep arguing when your team needed him the most to win was just unnecessary. Well if you’re up 20 plus points this shouldn’t be an issue. Spurs is a great time, Celtics need their superstar to compete.
