  1. Tank, promote Deni and get all you can for him in a trade. He's not an all star and not physically able to keep up his and-1 schtick. Please god move him for as much as we can. The old guys can earn a spot with effort, the young guns need 2-3 more rocking teammates.

  2. This team's offense is pathetic. It is clear roster changes are so much needed, e.g. adding shooters/shot creators. But more than that, we need a new good coach ASAP.

  3. Honestly best to tank maybe hope Gianni’s wins bucks some games so we can slip into 10 . Maybe have a chance at Acuff or some hidden gem. Maybe draft a top 4 maybe.

  4. The 6ers game was strange.
We were able to defend without fouling first half. 6ers were in penalty and we were not trying to drive to get free throws. 2nd half was the opposite, could not defend without fouling.
Coaching was MIA. Deni figured out the screen is hurting him way too late

  5. Philly loss was bad… Really bad.
Too good to tank, too bad to compete.
We are in a boring spot, spinning the wheels till the new ownership.

  6. We seem to have a hard time defending midrange shots. We'll likely play the Warriors and though we've beat them all season I', not confident about playing in the play in.

  7. Why aren't Blazer fans being extremely hard on Deni for having piss poor shooting percentages, when that is all they could talk about with Shaedon this season? Hint: Even after a horrible first month, Shaedon has a better 3pt percentage than Deni.

  8. To many turnovers bring back love and play Blake Westley that should be their back court for the second unit everything went to crap when Scoot came back

  9. Given that:
    1. Massive changes are on the horizon due to new ownership (and Dame returning)
    2. Win or lose, the play-in is inevitable
    3. Everybody keeps talking about how we have the “easiest schedule” like we should win automatically and if we don’t we’re the worst
    4. This was supposed to be a breakout year for scoot but things are STILL up in the air a bit
    5. (Something that doesn’t get brought up) last year, team leader and now all-star Deni was proud to play with his country’s national team. This year the scrutiny on that country has exploded, from AIPAC to the Epstein files, and now the war in Iran (and surrounding countries).

Basically all of these factors could be contributing to the current team vibe. A lot of “well what does this matter anyways” combined with “what is our future actually going to be like?” Obviously pro athletes are extremely good at mentally isolating each game from the rest of life, but this is a LOT of potential mental+emotional factors all stacking and combining together.

I’m hoping our games vs the clippers are exciting and if we lose both at least we get to beat GSW one last time this season. Next year is going to be a wild ride!
