OKC down three starters and Alex Caruso against a fully healthy Nuggets team. SGA shot 4 damn free throws last night. SGA was the best player on the floor.

It's easier said than done. Shai is getting better at facilitating through the doubles. OKC has many ball-handlers that can create and it could've been a much easier shot. SGA had no turnovers so he knows how to pass the ball.

It was a smart inbounds, first to AJ, then a secondary pass, threw off the timing to double, and he went into his shot fast. It gave DEN time for a heave, but was the only way to beat a double. If they double before, its too easy for a back door inbounds layup. DEN played it solidly.
Shai wasn't doubled because Daigneault SMARTLY inbounded the ball to Ajay Mitchell. But nobody is talking enough about this record he tied. The next closest to the record was Oscar Robertson with only 79. OSCAR FREAKING ROBINSON!!! Jordan tapped out at 72. Kobe at 63. Wilt was a freak of nature at 7' tall and could basically get a bucket whenever he wanted. Shai is doing it on 52% shooting last year and 55% this year, as a 6'6" guard. This is unreal.
In addition, during his streak, Wilt was taking 14-17 free throws a game. Crickets???
Everyone in the top 10 on the 20 point game streak averaged more free throws than SGA except Kareem. The free throw narrative is really dumb, ya'll need to stop pushing that nonsense.
