  1. I like Simons a lot. He’s got a great shot and moves well without the ball. Also Sexton cuz he can score. And he does hustle. Ivey can be very good too. Dillingham I don’t know. Seems like a potential bust. They absolutely have to get rid of Patrick Williams. Buy him out for the league minimum which allows him to actually make more than 18 mil a year if he can get more than the league minimum which j believe they can convince him he can.

  2. Let's stop this, Jamaal. They went into the trade deadline planning to maximize cap space for next off-season. Why trade Coby AND Ayo, and then get nothing back in terms of long-term additions at a reasonable price? I agree about Miller, but everyone else is GONE.

And Olbrich should be playing significantly MORE.

  3. I don't think Nick Richards is even a starting level player. He is an S tier backup to an actual starter. If he is the starter than that means we are tanking for a few years lol. Leonard Miller is absolutely a guy we should keep as he seems to gel with everyone who we know are going to stay. I love Yabu and Sexton but those are for entertainment reasons and doesn't make sense for us long term as those 2 are too good to be on tanking teams and we will accidentally win too much with them here to properly develop young guys.(I hated typing that phrase) I know what we should be doing is being bad for a few years while trying to acquire picks but I think AK wants this to be a temporary rebuild and will try to buy in on a bunch of players in the off season via trade and free agency and try to compete as fast as possible. Jerry won't have the patience for a proper rebuild imo.

  4. Based on the current trajectory of the roster and the vision established through the 2026 trade deadline, the Chicago Bulls have transitioned into a high-upside, youth-oriented team with a specific strategic identity.

Offensive Identity: Pace, Playmaking, and Size
The Bulls are shifting toward a positionless, high-tempo offense built around jumbo playmakers.

    * Lead Initiation: With Josh Giddey (6'8") at the helm, the offense is designed to be transition-heavy. The goal is to leverage Giddey’s elite vision to find athletes like Matas Buzelis and Noa Essengue in the open court.

    * Versatile Frontcourt: The offense relies on "hybrid" forwards. Because Buzelis and Essengue can slide between the 3 and 4 positions, the Bulls can run "5-out" sets or more traditional pick-and-roll schemes depending on the matchup.

    Defensive Identity: Length and Switchability
Defensively, the Bulls are moving away from the "guard-heavy" schemes of the past and toward a modern, length-first philosophy.

    * The "Wall of Length": The primary strategy is to overwhelm opponents with size. By 2026, the Bulls aim to field lineups where nearly every player is between 6'7" and 7'0", making it difficult for opponents to find passing lanes.

    * Rim Protection Priority: After years of lacking a true interior presence, the team is focused on adding a traditional anchor (like Mitchell Robinson) to allow the more agile wings (Buzelis, Williams, and Essengue) to gamble on the perimeter for steals and deflections.

    * Switchable Foundations: The roster is being constructed with players who have high "defensive floors." Prospects like Noa Essengue are viewed as "multi-positional" stoppers who can switch 1-through-5, which is essential for a modern NBA defense.

The "New Bulls" are an athletic, transition-based team that uses its superior length to disrupt opponents defensively and its versatile playmaking to create high-percentage looks offensively. The focus has moved from "playing it safe" to taking "high-potential upside" swings to find a true franchise-changing star.

  5. I hope they find some guys who actually wanna play for the Bulls. Most of them seem disconnected to the competing part of the game.

  6. Total agreement, Richards can give you 2-3 years if needed at a favorable price. Miller should be back 100% and Dilliy has another year to see if he can develop, BillyD has a style he wants to see from him but not sure he’s a fit. Ivey they’ll have to decide. Sexton is fun to watch but they probably want his minutes for developing players. Simons wants go to back to Boston if they want him.

  7. If some of these guys want playing time they've come to the right place. If they go someplace else they won't get the minutes and quite frankly they got to be getting tired sitting on the bench getting no minutes. The worse thing you can do is not play at all and not exist. Here they exist.🤭

  8. Keep Giddey, buzelis, miller, and Richards. Maybe Ivey because he hasn’t had enough time to play with these guys. Simons and sexton are too good to be playing here and can help a contending team
