  1. Which 8 players would the jazz protect from expansion teams?

don’t want to lose these young promising guys!

  2. In 2027 the Jazz owe the best of Cleveland, minny, and their own to Memphis and the worst of those three to PHX. But we do get the middle pick

  3. Gobert was right about Mitchell as incredible as Mitchell is his lack of want on defense is a problem. Showing the same thing in Cleveland now. Mitchell needs to be a Klay Thompson second option not a first option for a team to win a championship.

  4. At 5 in the draft do the Jazz go with:
    – Darrius Acuff (scores, play makes, handles, but is small and a poor defender)
    – Kingston Flemings (scores, play makes, defends well, but is smaller and doesn’t shoot many 3’s)
    – Keaton Wagler (Scores, play makes, good size, iffy defender and lacks athleticism)

    Anyone else interesting at 5?

  5. I think the best thing to come from Cody’s recent games is confidence. His confidence is starting to show more and more. To be elite you have to believe you’re elite. I think he’s starting to believe that he’s elite and in his head he still thinks he’s going to be better than his big brother. Imagine if he can get to his brother’s level. I think he’ll play next year and be a lockdown defender on the perimeter.

  6. Locke you said something that caught my attention. Something to the effect of….teams try to lose with protected picks. Is that the problem with the NBA? protected picks. Do you think this is what A. Silver is going to change next year?

  7. I love what I'm seeing from Cody. If he makes the 3rd year leap key and walker did, there's a very real chance he's a rotational player off the bench at 20-25 minutes a night. Rn he's probably closer to 10-12 a night

  8. The reason for confidence is obvious: more consistent minutes and the team is depending on him which is pushing him to realize that he simply just needs to go for it. Tanking is GOOD FOR THE TEAM since it gives the lesser players experience through significant playing time.

  9. If Minnesota loses in the 1st round. Would you, as Jazz, trade Laurie Markannen, Keyonte George, our upcoming 2026 Lottery pick, a future unprotected 1st round pick, and Minnesota's 2028 pick swap back to them… all for Anthony Edwards?
Let me help, answer to that is ABSOLUTELY. Ant is arguably top 7 player in the world and him paired with JJJ would give us an actual shot at a championship.
