  1. I'm always pleasantly surprised by his calm and determination.
He manages to achieve all the goals he sets for himself, and that has a positive impact on the rest of the team.
    GSG !

  2. French part.

Journalist: Good evening Victor, you mentioned wanting to be MVP this season, especially with players like SGA Jokic also vying for the title. What do you think are the arguments in your favor?

Victor: There are many arguments in my favor, but I prefer to let the game speak for itself for now. I'm not worried, there are plenty of arguments, more than enough.

Journalist: I spoke to Nicolas Batum earlier, and he told me that, compared to others, it's very often the case in all sports that the best player on both offense and defense is the one who wins.

Victor: Of course, that's part of it.

Journalist: What do you think about that?

    Victor: I completely agree.

  3. Let the game come to you… You don t have to force it. To me this must be your goal until the playoffs. GSG

  4. Wemby sounds very determined to win, I like his mindset. Go spurs go I believe y’all can win a championship this season 💪🔥

  6. Love the questions from today's most of them, the reporters have understood the message this guys is deeper than most and are asking more thought provoking questions, it's beautiful and to have a superstar like Wemby this eloquent, this mature, it's all so beautiful man

  7. He beat OKC 4/5 times this season, if it comes down to him and Shai, that should come into it just as much as wins do, when comparing Jokic and Shai last year

  8. The NBA is going to steal Wemby's MVP the way they stole DPOY from him in his rookie season.

Wemby is without a shadow of a doubt the MVP & DPOY of the regular season.

The narrative they are pushing now is because he is so young, he has more time to win multiple MVPs & DPOYs.

As of today! TO-NOW! and NOW, NOW! Victor Wembanyama is NBA MVP & DPOY! Plain, short and simple. And to top it up, the Wemby led San Antonio Spurs beat SGA's Oklahoma City Thunder 4 freaking times, and tied with Jokić's Denver Nuggets.

  9. Wemby and SGA are likeable because they come across as thoughtful, intelligent people. Wemby especially seems very natural and honest.

  10. Wemby's greatest asset isn't his talent or god given body, its his mindset. What an absolute pleasure witnessing this future GOAT's journey along with this team, GO SPURS GO!

  11. One of the successful changes Mitch and the Spurs have made in February/March that I noticed, including against the Clippers last night, has been a slightly bigger focus on offensive presence in/near the paint and on offensive rebounds. It looks like it’s intentional. Last night, the Spurs scored 64 pts in the paint and grabbed 22 offensive rebounds, which was better than the Clippers, just after 58 pts in the paint against the Hornets along with 15 off. rbds (again, better than Charlotte).
Now, this in/near the paint offensive effort is not sufficient yet. Why not? Because you still see Victor regularly shoot 9 to 15 3s per game, like last night against the LAC, instead of hanging more around the paint and usually score more pts this way. It’s true that he does not always score more pts with 2s than 3s, but usually he does, especially if you take FTs into account: Victor is a 36.5 percent 3FG% shooter and he stands at 57.7 percent in terms of 2FG%. Of course, and it is very important, Vic’s rate of FTs is way higher with 2s than with 3s.
Carter Bryant or Harrison Barnes also should get closer to the paint more often instead of shooting more 3s than 2s as they usually do.
The Spurs are still a barely decent or average 3 pts shooting team with 35.8 percent as a team at 3P% and rank 17th in the NBA right now.
So, before the playoffs, it is in the Spurs’ best interest to keep playing more in and near the paint.

  12. It's not enough. They're barely winning these games. Boston will destroy them.

  13. I know the Spurs are a title contender when I stopped watching regular season games. I cant wait for the Playoffs! Growth Spurt Growth ❤
