When they fall apart it's never just one person. it's always the whole team.. Why can't there be anyone that can will the team back into form
I saw a lot of sloppy rushed passing, I think DG needs to slow down a little and make sure the pass is going to actually connect with the receiver.
AFTER HE BACK FROM THIS LIL LEFT ANKLE SPRAIN…
🫴🏽🫴🏽🫴🏽KAWHIIIIII 3RD FINALS MVP
All this proved It's the clippers will be competitive, be close but fall short at the end of day.
Starters fatigued? I only heard it on radio; seemed like a disgusting 2nd Quarter.
How on earth they turned 3 transition lobs / advantages into turnovers is high-school level w t f. Is it too much to ask to make the simple play sometime?? Box the F out already? Spurs got 4 offensive rebounds in one possession @ a minute left in H1! And ffs get to the free throw line down the stretch. Dudes are chucking up 3s like they dont even consider other shots.
Age is really playing a factor for us..the starters are always gassed

Fun Game! Definitely encouraged by this game. We have not played them with both of our starters or Collins so I think that in a SEvEN game series we can beat them. Hopefully when we play them again, we will have both of our starters so that that can set the tone. The team was so sloppy in that second quarter all of those weird and awkward lobs were so unnecessary that was an embarrassing brand of basketball. Thankfully, the young guys came in a third quarter and closed the gap. I feel like we should have kept IJAX in once we made that pushed colors with a little too small but anyways fun game go clips!
The Spurs took their foot off the gas. It would be an interesting playoff match up
Mathurin for Zu was the best trade we made. DG is too short to contest 3s I swear I saw like 8 get made on his head like he wasn't even there. First 3 quarters were rough for the boy
Kobe Sanders being benched for Batum is CTE level coaching. Cam Christie been part of the stay ready crew. Miller continues a great year.
I saw things a little differently. When things changed is when Lue took Dunn out at about the 8 min mark in the 1st quarter, which to me was a mistake. KD was playing great, and even hitting his 3pt shot. He sets the tone defensively.
I have been saying this for a whiie, Lue values offense over defense, and it cost us in this game. Going forward KD should be running the offense and DG should play off-guard or shooting guard on offense. We need his offense next to Kawhi as the 2nd option. I wouldn’t play DG & Mathurin too much together, too much ISO without involving the rest of the team. When DG comes out, bring Mathurin in. When Dunn is out, bring Miller or Kobe in. I would not play Mathurin with Kawhi either, he’s strictly a 2nd unit guy, the same way Carlisle used him in Indy. I can see why they didn’t want to pay him top FA money. He’s young so hopefully he gets a good coach to learn how to play the right way .. Lue ain’t the one to do it. Kyrie Irving left the Cavs kicking and screaming to get away from LeBron and Lue.
Mathurin is a one dimensional player, I don’t see the two way player he thinks he is or who ppl keep saying he is. Once he came in the game with a 15-3 lead for Dunn, things changed for the worse. Within 2 minutes the score was 17-11. Benny has just been a ball hog who shoots or foul baits, which takes the team out of a rhythm. He hasn’t been too stout on D either, getting blown by and hasn’t really guarded on ball very well to be honest. Don’t be fooled by the hype of the trade, just watch these games close on how the momentum swings when he’s in the game. He should get the ball at the end of the shot clock or the last resort, not to initiate offense. I even saw Garland get frustrated with him on a couple of possessions when he didn’t pass the ball to teammates who were open.
I like when in the 3rd, the offense was being run by the yg’s (young guys) and the momentum shifted back to Clippers favor, then Lue started bringing his favorite guys back in and you know the rest .. but he should have let the yg’s continue and possibly pull this game out.
Question, since the team isn’t doing what is needed (specifically last night) what or who do you hold accountable for the way the team was outplayed? Also, the mindset to only play 9 guys is that a good strategy when you need to win these games?
The last time the Clips played the Spurs, Castle was a non factor … last night he was a monster.
