Hey Frenchy, I like the blue rims. Nobody wanted Green. Everybody wanted Jabari Smith. So what. We have Green, so lets make the most of it. Green is firepower. Green likes to drive to the basket. Green represents a piece to our puzzle. We have Fleming, Malachi, Goody, Nasty, the Gnome, the Driver, Oso, Grayboy, BooYa, Tar Pits, cup of joe, RUDunn, the High Bear, Rolls3,Huntley & Livers, the MAN and Book. And we have Ott and Gregory. Our future is bright. We’ll get there, be patient.
This falls in the "No Shit Sherlock" category. The guy has played 21 games for the Suns and still hasn't fully regained the explosiveness he had before the injury. He's 24 and by far the most athletically gifted player on the team. I wanna see a lineup with Book, Green, Brooks and Williams. If those 4 can get on the court together and get in sync that could be formidable.

Wait, wasn't everyone hating on Jalen last night after the game? I like Jalen, but they're not using him right. He needs to be the Suns point guard, ala KJ/Nash. He's too quick, to let him just stand stagnantly beyond the 3pt line. Colin is too inconsistent. Jalen has much more upside as a point guard. Bring in Nash or KJ as a specialist coach for Jalen over the next year. This also requires they stop running the offense thru Booker. As a speedy Gonzales point guard, who slashed to the basket for layups or to dish, with an occasional 3pter to keep defenses honest, Jalen can be effective with assist and getting fouls when his shots aren't dropping. I don't understand why Ott insists on making the same mistake as his coach predecessor. During the Beal/KD era, for some frustrating reason, we were constantly rolling with 3 guards and Royce O'Neal, and it never worked because we had no rebounding or defense. When things were working, it was because we had 2 guards (book and collin, whoever was resting swapped for Allen or Goodwin) with Royce and Brooks or Dunn and Brooks. It also helped we had a bigger center with Mark Williams though not really anything to do about that while he's out, but all the more reason that these super small, low defense, line ups are killing us like they did in the Beal/KD era. We surprised the world by bringing high energy defense from the forwards positions. Royce is never going to be a defensive guy, he's basically a tallish SG, so especially when he's out there the other forward needs to a be Flemming, Dunn, or when healthy, Brooks.
Instead, again, like the Beal/KD era, we're giving up so many easy buckets because all our defenders are collecting dust on the bench, while we have 4 shooters, out there along with Oso. Having Green standing in the corner is not providing us value over having Fleming, who can defend and rebound. Personally I like Book + Colin better, but I'd settle for Book + Green and Collin off the bench, I just need them to stop putting all 3 of those guys on the court at the same time, or if they must, then Royce needs to be the one sitting for a Fleming or Dunn.
This losing streak isn't ideal but the Suns are several games above .500 with him in the starting lineup and .500 when both Book and Dillon are out of it. It's a shame the injury bug never went away this season but I really want to see Jalen and Dillon and Book all together to see if their combined good vibes can make some magic.
