You guys are two years behind the mid-y debate. It's not either or, you're trying to keep all three levels live. The reason to delete them is in this case a soft tank. Bulls always had an eye on the lottery this year (same reason they went most of the season with no defensive bigs), particularly given all the injuries but that is different than being the Kings or whoever is in the one spot. The irony is Finch just found out about he mid-range last season. Had no idea what it was. We're trying to teach him about point guards, but that's been a little slower to click in.
It's funny to say the Bulls we're blown out, what did you notice about Chicago tonight that they did differently? If you're close with Billy you should ask him both about deleting that mid's this season and tonight versus their approach to the Griz. Two wildly different scenarios, you could look at the schedule right now and if you watch basketball could probably guess who they are tanking against and who they are not, or who would make more sense to. This team never exited tank mode following the deadline, but they can't just be Utah and sit everyone rest of the way, and they definitely cannot tell the NBA that's what's happening.
It is not 3's are more than two's that was never a real argument.
I do respect how much you guys love math though, so given your advanced knowledge of what math is, you should know who you would take? So blanket lottery, who's the guy you think we need the one seed for? You positive that guy isn't the 5th pick, or the 13th? You could take anyone top 14 which Bulls will be. Use your big brains to tell me who that is? What does the math say?
