In this episode, I provide a film and narrative breakdown on how the Golden State Warriors got blown out by the Boston Celtics while still playing without Steph Curry.
Actually, the game was close until Q4, but as usual, there was a lot of manipulation from the refs, as is the case whenever the Warriors are national TV, but that aside, this matchup highlighted the defensive weaknesses of the Warriors from players like Brandin Podziemski, Kristaps Porzingis, and even De’Anthony Melton.

Tough and expected loss, even the ref manipulation on national TV was expected. What I didn't expect was a no-show by the starting backcourt, there's no way they can compete all the way with both Podz and Melton being awful on both ends of the floor.
The good news it that we keep hearing progress on Steph Curry, and at this point, his return is all that matters. I also do not expect them to look their best on defense without Al Horford, so there are still things to look forward to.
Jimbo Jimbo dominant 😂. You in fantasy land haven't you learn anything no more 4 guard lineup.
Fact even when there are bigs 1st Q 6 minutes into game the bigs come out. It isn't happening but keep wishing!😂
Jim what do you think of Steve Kerr being the 4th fastest coach to win 600 games as a head coach, he is up there with all time great coach in Phil Jackson, Pat Riley, Greg Poppovich and Erik Spoelstra
i think we did not play that bad, the main reason we lost is that tonight we couldn’t hit a 3 (for a team without the superstar we rely on 3 point shootin)
Still tryna understand why podz is still playing
It's been 3 years of podz. There is no sign of any improvement yet. 🤞
I’m missing watching stepth play. There is only so much a man can watch a 4 guard lineup led team before losing their mind.
Feels like Celtics vs G leaguers, JB’s doing whatever the hell he wants and podz so trash
Gui, keep up with the improvement.
SK needs to learn that bigger is better, and must know that the offense doesn't work without snipers out there. There's the paint, and clearly it's not that protected; the Warriors must change the system to utilize the players currently available. If the 3 points don't fall, attack the rim.
Hawks have won 11 straight game…. and jk played great tonight. 😂😅😊 😢😢😢
Gambling has ruined sports, period. These refs are just doing what they want as long as they get a payout
I've been a fan of the Warriors since 1980, and I watched every single game even though they were losing. Recently, I just can't watch them play because the players look confused, and there is no joy in their faces. Sad.
It’s bad enough the refs are terrible but for Kerr to make it worse just explains our entire season
Do you think they are lowkey tanking bro? If they finished 10th seed I think they shouldnt rush steph’s knee and just be fully healthy next season, maybe dray might not be there which might be better
Is LJ still DNP? I like him a lot more than Spencer
I think the real winner of the JK–Porziņģis trade is Brandin Podziemski. He stayed patient, and the timing worked in his favor. If the Warriors decide to keep him this coming offseason, there will only be two players with guaranteed contracts by 2028—Moses Moody and Brandin. The situations of Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Jimmy Butler, and Kristaps Porziņģis will still depend on their respective deals.
By 2028, Podziemski’s new contract will already be in effect if he is extended this offseason. With Golden State’s salary cap expected to be much clearer by then, he could potentially secure a bigger contract than Moody.
What’s lacking is not only iq but its being overplayed.getting benched after a mistake teaches you a lesson and shows you the game in different lenses.but kerr just plays him a ton
Several points: 1) Porzingas has no lift at all in his legs. He plays 5-10 years older than his actual age. Horrible trade. 2) Kerr sending out a new lineup every game only breeds uncertainty in the players; the players have to know what their roles are driving to the game. They can't because there's no continuity whatsoever. Consequently, they play scared. 3) Draymond is washed. He is one of the smartest, instinctual players for all times, but his body has let him down. He takes unnecessary risks on defense because physically he is overmatched, and to your point, he cannot anchor it anymore. The team plays with so much more energy when he is off the floor. 4) Many of the players on 2-way contracts have, surprisingly, a lot to contribute. Unfortunately, Kerr puts them in the bingo hopper of uncertainty with his random lineups, and instead of maximizing the positive skills they have, their negatives are exposed. 5) Kerr often reverts to BS AAU coaching by pulling non-veterans out immediately after a turnover. Players need the freedom to take chances and not be punished every time they make a mistake. 6) I hope we can enjoy the play of Gui Santos for years to come. He's a real standout this year, and if we get nothing else out of the year, it's a joy to watch him play. Kerr's job is to recognize the best players and combinations out there, and he consistently fails at that. If he had, we would have more consistent lineups and rotations. That Santos got to where he is despite Kerr is a real testament to Santos' ethic.
Steve Kerr like Pat Riley has a good system that requires ball movement, low turnovers & good 3-point shooters. Podz, Post, Melton are inconsistent against over .500 teams in making key buckets. Buddy Hield & Moody are more built for play in or playoff basketball. A lack of experience in meaningful games of players on the rooster because good teams play hard ever night. I look forward to getting our starters back because the Kerr culture is to play hard.
You guys got all hyped over KP playing against a team that lost 11 straight games 😂
Yeah wayyyy to many needed losses, now the Warriors are unlikely to be the 7th seed (1st in play-in) and remember the two teams that come out of the play in will vs the 1st and 2nd seed 😬
Might be worth shutting Steph down for the season seeing that with a bit of refinement the bench unit can actually be great and if they resign KP and QP to friendly deals and Al takes his player option they’ll have a solid front court with Jimmy returning
Even if they don’t have a Cinderella run or make a run next year as long as they don’t offer Dray an extension, or if they do it’s a really friendly offer the Warriors will have loads of cap space
There you go crying about the refs again. PodZ commits an offensive foul every trip down. He literally runs into people every trip down. Blaming refs is weak and you know it.
No playoffs, friend Jim.
The Celtics are a tough team. They had tatum, brown, white, and prichard against whoever we have left. At least we got to see Steph do some warm ups pregame.
KP and podz suck
I wish we play the Wizard every game, because warriors looks a strong team if they facing the wizard.
No hope for Kerr and this team. Try again next year.
Podz said he's on the way to be better than Steph so he believes he deserves more $$$ than Moody ( but Moody is a 🏆 )…. do you think he comes close to JP offensive talent?
Can we even beat the blazers
We should name this the Steve Kerr Podcast 😉
If its not Steve Kerr, its gonna be the refs. We are always playing with some sort of a disadvantage. Now, I am not saying that the refs are doing this exclusively to us, its just that, nowadays we are seeing more bad calls than good ones, with a WIDE margin, they are on some bs every game. And sure, there are some exceptions like Steph’s lack of whistles or OKC’s and Boston’s favourable whistles, but exceptions dont disprove the rules.
Jabbar and Chamberlain were playing defense in the paint and weren't getting out on the perimeter ..That's just what big guys do including Porzingis
Steve Kerr making another history from 8th seed to 10 seed, as warriors fans we needed new coach and we hope Steve Kerr isn't coaching next season. Sir @jimparkgm
Podz next season might be getting that $39M extension, if that happens NOW everything is starting to get too much suspicious with Kerr and Podz relationship. That is way too much to give for an extension for a guy who barely plays good against weak defensive teams who is very insufficient in his game, but when against elite and contenders defensive teams, Podz is soooo goofy, like he wants the ball in his hands on most possession, like his the next guy for the Warriors. Face the facts we will never watch a good warriors basketball under steve kerr's coaching, his rotations and lineup are mixed and match, like he barely gets the rotation right, and then the next games all but terrible rotations and lineup, still experimenting with guards, going small as possible, and he still cannot reflect or see how bad Draymond regressed now his at 36, he still plays him at the center, and plays him nearly 30 minutes a game. For Kristaps, this has been his problem in his career, cannot switch on time, Steve Kerr making him look like an all around defender, that is not his defensive game, his a rim protector, you need to surround Kristaps with reliable in and out defensive players who can guard the perimeter and backup Kristaps in the interior paint, but what can you do when your roster are filled with 11 guards and Gui Santos the only PRIMARY FORWARD on your roster while Jimmy is out. This small guard roster are going get punished and humiliated in the Play-In or Playoffs, and a very much burden on Steph's game, trying to carry yet again the weight and save Steve Kerr as always, and the media be Dikriding on Kerr's coaching ability is so great, one of the all time great coach SMH
Sheeeesh the Pistons that's another lose!!! Smh the Defense is bad because of Kerr and who he's playing like I said though Jim on a warriors post on IG I've been tagging Steve Kerr name talking junk about his line ups, Small ball, and backcourt. But yeah Pozingis started out hot on defense for like 2 seconds lol then fell off bad!!! Smh Podz just sucks!! Really he's not him Spencer out played Podz yesterday. But on the bright side can't wait for Curry to come back.
Kuminga: 18 mins/16pts 5rbs 3 assist 1 steal 1 turnover 2/3 3pt +10 11 straight wins for the Hawks😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
14:00 this is how I know people are not paying attention to the competition when they make the claims they do
Look, the warriors after jb and steph have no chance of doing anything. Why not just play as many guys as possible, hoping for some sort of development, and just grab 11th best odds for lottery and hope for a generational star rather then risk an injured steph just to lose in 4 to the thunder. Idk im not too mad about these losses, as a top tier or 11th pick with healthy warriors next season can be a problem
Pat Spencer seems lost sometimes and he holds on to the ball too much, I'd rather give it to Santos, my review of Spencer he's not reliable so as Podz
Reliable player in my book is
• Santos
• Big AL
• Melton
• Porzingis
refs bet on the Celtics
Podz is just too small and too slow to be the future guard of the Warriors.
Steve Kerr needs to go same old shit thanks bro love your show
The refs have been screwing the Warriors for many years now! I really believe that the NBA has an agenda against the Warriors and doesn't want them to have any chance to win another championship! It is not just the national TV games, to me it is every game!
N no foul call when White almost hit Will’s head off his body.
We are now the 10th seed!! Keep it up and get a good draft pick
Let me start off by saying I'm sorry you got to go through this and tell us how shity the Warriors are Steve Kerr's bum and between Pat Spencer and pods I would get rid of both of them them
I think we should focus on next year. We need to keep KP and find a true PF and bench. Our starting line up next year should be Steph, Jimmy, gui, (a new real PF not Draymond 😒) and KP that's a contending lineup. Get a good back up for Steph I like moody (if he can level up) get a good SF , dray or horford (if he stays) can come off the bench for the 4 and find a solid (rebounding/shot blocking ) big we can get Steph #5
