  1. This episode is embarrassingly bad, showing without a doubt that the hosts DID NOT watch the Lakers-Rockets game and were just looking at box scores and reading recaps.

Tony spent the 1st half of the Lakers-Rockets segment talking about KD being double-teamed and the lack of playmaking from the guards. Well, KD was aggressively doubled LAST game, BUT NOT this game, where he didn't look to score in the 1H (probably don't want to be doubled) but instead picked it up in the 3rd with 11 or 13 points (not mentioned by the hosts) which led to Houston overtaking the Lakers. The Rockets were not overtly out-assisted this game as implied by the hosts, but instead the Lakers minimized the rebounding gap in this game compared to the last. Lakers also won with Sengun returning after missing the last game (important detail not mentioned which makes this win more valid).

Ryan talked about Lebron diving in the Nuggets game … irrelevant in this game. Lebron did miss only one shot, but what was impressive was how he did it; Lebron had 6 dunks (!) which was impressive for his age and shows that he is willing to play off-ball and play the cutting or transition game.

Ryan said that "Luka Doncic continues to develop into the main star…." He IS already the main star, since last year. DUH! Ryan further read off Luka's stats, but didn't mention that Luka scored 10 points within the final 5.03 secs and made 3 crucial assists on 1 three and 2 lobs, and six of Luka's points were two step-back dagger threes.

I'm sure the Locked on NBA hosts cannot feasibly watch ALL games before airing the episode, but they could at least do some basic research (read NBA/ESPN recaps, consult NBA app AI game summary, talk to other Locked on hosts) before "winging" an episode with half-baked information.

  2. Separate Nikola THE ONE AND ONLY REAL MVP Jokić from bummal27, ASAP!!!! Jafal is the worst second option ever and he already wasted enough of Jokić's prime!!!!

  3. I really think Denver is like Detroit. They have a big two in Jokic + Murray with a bunch of solid role players. Those two have to create all the offense because they don’t have a lot of ball handlers that can break down defenses. The difference from Detroit is that this Nuggets team can’t defend like the Pistons. As a result, Murray and Jokic have to both be on fire and cooking to have a chance at winning.

Memphis played really good team defense with great effort. Good on them.

  4. Jokic is a phenomenal offensive talent but he’s mot a great two-way player. He’s not a shot blocker that is impactful on defense.

Young, athletic teams give Denver problems (ie. OKC, San Antonio, Minnesota). I’m convinced that if Wemby played against Denver in the last game we played them, the Spurs would have beat them a second time this season. Looking forward to seeing my Spurs play Denver with Wemby the next two times we play them in April.

  5. Jokic will only have 1(ONE) championship with this team…Adelman is a coach without discipline…scared to death to call anyone out…when players make mega bucks more than you your message is hollow

  6. If you’re a serious league, you don’t schedule playoff caliber teams to have back-to-back games with the team getting in at 4 AM to play a game that evening. NBA scheduled this loss. Crooked ?
