Outside of the rook Hugo and Tatum, the other 8 players in the rotation are all averaging career highs in ppg.
Before the season without Taum prediction: They will at best be a play in team because Jaylen Brown ain’t that good
Now they are 2nd and can potentially finish 1st : They would be 6th or 8th with JB because Jaylen Brown can’t be that good
No matter the situation or what he does, Jaylen Brown can never get the credit other stars get. Why is that ?
This guy is a KD fan btw who transformed the Suns into a team with no playoffs and currently took the team second in the west last year to 6th.
still a lotta talk bout boston from the guy who admits he was wrong lolz
It's interesting how they negate how teams defensive scheme changes if JB is not on the team. Remember, scouting report has JB at the top of the list. Remove him and things start looking different. White struggled a lot early in the season. So did Pritchard. JB was a relief valve. You removed that from the equation, pressure builds.
literally some dumb shit. i watch Boston. and without JB they would be 10th. on off numbers and games he missed is a dumb way to measure his impact. without him every game you would need to find 30-5-5. a dominant attitude. control of the game. confidence scoring. when did we start measuring by when a guys not there. these topics are so stupid.
Y'all running outta narratives to say about the Celtics
On/off numbers are deceiving because the Celtics have a shit ton of shooters and players who know their role. Also Boston cleverly choses when to sit Brown, for the exception of the Rockets, he sits against bottom tier teams.
vs Washington Wizards — W 146–101
@ Toronto Raptors — W 112–96
vs Sacramento Kings — W 112–93
@ Houston Rockets — W 114–93
@ Phoenix Suns — W 97–81
❌ Loss
@ Indiana Pacers — L 96–98
Second ring incoming!
Said it before but on/off is a stat that shows team composition and not much else. Imagine Wemby coming off the bench for Jokic, is Jokic suddenly trash because his on/off is gonna be negative? A low on/off just shows lots of depth at a position, and the Cs have Pritchard or White to cover for Brown when he sits; both of whom are way better than the bench they get to go against.
JB and ant when healthy are playoff player their impact numbers will go up in the playoff that shot creating and lock down defender two guard become way more valuable in the playoff like playoff time they going to need a healthy brown to win it all that analytics stuff dont win in the playoff
