The best way to torture someone is to make them watch warriors basketball without Steph for the rest of the season.
Podz asking for 39M from Warriors??? he sucks, and Kerr still thinks he playing excellent basketball.
The injuries are the symptom, not the illness. The roster and the salary cap are the real problem. I mean who would you chose to pay $25M/year to, Ausar Thompson or Draymond Green? Draymond in 2026 is a valuable vet to have for KYP reasons, the idea that his defense is good enough to justify him playing though, is not. He'd be an excellent addition to the roster on a vet minimum, that's it. How will any of this improve with everyone another year older? Running this back next year will go exactly as it has this year, a compromised roster, not enough talent on the floor, and guys that are too old and set in their ways to actually compete in the current NBA. If we want to field a winning team, we need to make significant changes. If you want to bask in nostalgia, fine, it won't be fun, but we can run it back and hope for the best. Personally, I'm more interested in the former as we're already seeing the latter.
I would prefer to watch Wiseman and Kuminga play than watch these cats now to be honest. Half or more of the dudes on the team have no upside.
I try to like Podz! He’s just not a visually appealing style of player to me. However, if his shot making and efficiency was good I’d root for him more and forget his less visual style of play. He’s not a bad player but …. He’s an NBA player just not a starter level player.
Even if his free throw shooting was mid 80’s I’d be more confident of him becoming a knock down 3 point shooter.
I hate when he drives to the basket and gets to the restricted area and does the slow euro and have to throw the ball out to only get it stolen. He has to have a counter to that move like a floater or pull up midi.

4 old guys and a bunch of D leaguers.. not a winning combo. The team literally has four guys that average about 45 games a year, 38 years old, and take up 90% of their salary … it’s a boring brand of basketball. PorDingus is never gonna be a reliable option.
Face it. It's all Steph. Without Steph, there won't be four championship rings. Kerr is Nothing without Steph. Steph carried everyone.
The old team strategy and Jimmy making so much money , that was a bad strategy from the start. Yes Jimmy has played well and saved our season last year . But then having him for 55 millions a season on 2 seasons , that hurt us , him being injured or not . Now the only way we get out of this nightmare for next season is if we can find a team that accepts to take jimmy’s contract and then with that money get 2 good players , 1 would need to be a co star at 35-40 millions and another one around 15-20. But not old player , no more please

It’s a decision time. Lose the rest of the games and hope Pels win 9+ games. Or play Curry and KP in at least five games just to give the fans something to watch. I think that’s a good business practice.
