Assessing the Phoenix Suns Fourth Quarter Offensive Woes 😬

Assessing the Phoenix Suns Fourth Quarter Offensive Woes 😬

The Phoenix Suns encountered a tumultuous speed bump in the quick-hitting success they sustained early in this recent 6-game road trip.

Their offense often stagnated in the fourth quarters of the trip, and while there are some inevitable flaws baked into this iteration of the team (due to inury but also following the Durant trade from the Summer), there are plenty of correctable dynamics in play.

Stephen PridGeon-Garner is back with another film session to detail some of the room for improvement areas of their offense from the 6-game road trip, while providing proof of concept moments where they’ve shown ti have the ability to course-correct.

  1. Uh…Luke KORNET not Kennard! The Suns will never win with Booker. He's not an #1 for a winning team and he's not a winning player. Jalen Green isn't very good at basketball. His basketball IQ is very low and his shot selection is horrible, which is why his FG % is very low, especially from 3 point range. The Suns did the right thing by building a culture this year. But they need to be able to rebuild with youth. They won't be champion contenders any time soon based on their draft position and current construct.

  2. Thank you, Professor. Your tape reviews show the potential the team has and that it is within reach. I feel hopeful for the next season!

  3. Don’t mind book taking shots but that first play you showed when he pulls up from 3 with a defender on him is not a good shot for booker , instead of working him in mid range that’s the shot he chooses to take and we know that’s not money for him.

  4. Great breakdown, I'm looking forward to what it's going to look like when Brooks and Williams are back.
Still haven't seen Book with Green and Brooks and Williams on the floor together.
