I think one of the most important differences between OKC and Spurs is coaching. OKC has a proven championship coach vs a coach that hasn't coached in the playoffs.

You're right. The Spurs will have to go through OKC, who is, by being defending champs and having the best record in the league, better than them right now. But still, it would not surprise anyone if the Spurs went to the Finals this year. Now, could they beat Boston or New York or Detroit – whoever represents the East – in a 7-game series? I don't know. Maybe that would surprise me. And I'm a Spurs fan. They would have to improve beyond where they are now because they are still too inconsistent.

Spurs have beaten OKC FOUR OUT OF FIVE GAMES. Spurs are too big…too strong…too fast for weak, puny, slow OKC. Spurs bigs are FAR SUPERIOR to OKC bigs…Spurs guards, Castle, Fox and Harper DOMINATE OKC''s smaller, weaker defensive players and Wemby OWNS Holmgren.
OKC is the best team. But spurs can beat them in a series.they need luck also.
Thunder and Nuggets injuries along with the rest of the West not being very good has got people thinking the Spurs are way better than they are. Using the Cup and Christmas games as a reason they'd beat the Thunder in the playoffs is a little absurd when you realize the Thunder shot 21-80 from 3 combined in those games. The Spurs basically played the best basketball they could play and shot out of their minds I will bet on the Thunder rising in the playoffs rather than the Spurs being able to maintain that. The 2 games in SA were back to backs and 1 was against the OKC Blue. They had no trouble beating them when they could throw it in the ocean from 3 and Wemby wasn't the reason for those wins it was role players shooting out of their minds and that's what you see stop happening in the playoffs

And castle been locking ppl up so I'm not worried about sga,who stopping fox, barns, champene, and vessel shooting is awesome,carter Bryant,castle and wemby Defense, kelvin Johnson a beast of the bench and man Dylan Harper is a monster but of course he is that's Ron Harper son. Spurs will be that team in 1 or 2 years but right now it is okc and I’m a cavs fan. Jared McCain is a huge pick up for that team that didn’t play in any of those spurs games if I remember correctly
