So frustrating how most other stars in the league get to play on rosters that maximize their talent and abilities while Ant is forced to play with these awkward ass lineups
I don't get why the Timberwolves even draft players (rookies) when they don't play. Tim Connelly has 1 job when the season end, fire the coach, trade Randle, and Rudy.
I didn’t like picking up Kyle after picking up Ayo just wouldn’t wanna play them together much it’s fine if the rotations are different but I knew finch would have line ups that just don’t make much sense.
Coming from a die hard Wolves fan here in Minneapolis… I cant wrap my head around how Rudy been in the league like 13 years and doesn't know a single post move.. it's honestly incredible.. like even if he could catch a bounce pass, he can't do anything with it.. he can ONLY handle a lob pass 4 inches from the rim, and even that isn't a very high percentage.. I'm just annoyed after the Thunder game… but still
The minnesota timberwolves have too many bigs. Naz, randle, rudy. And it takes away the driving anr the spacing for ant to operate. Ant was getting doubled and trapped last night and rudy can't catch a ball to save his life
Is it really the lineup that’s the problem, or is it the players not doing their jobs and playing with enough force and effort?
Right now the team looks a little divided. The star player gets a lot of attention, and it feels like others want to step up and be the hero too, which sometimes turns into too much hero ball instead of team basketball.
What seems to be missing is the camaraderie. When KAT was there, it felt like the team genuinely enjoyed playing together and having fun on the court. Now, it just seams like everyone is out there for themselves.
That's not the only thing Finch screws up, a lot of times it's like this team has never played together before! Sick of Anderson's slow lobby passes, gives it up every pass!
Devils advocate, in the past, with MC, the empty side pnr was a quality 3rd offensive option. Kyle can typically activate Rudy. The issues I see is if they are going to use the SloMo/Rudy line up you need 3 shooters spacing to compliment it. Then just keep the ball in Kyle’s hands. It isn’t pretty but can be an option.
Slomo is a disaster arrival! He suddenly got tooooooo much of time! He only needs to be on court when there are four shooters and he does the passing only
Wolves always do these stupid lineup where they just making it harder on Ant. Like Randle w Rudy, Randle w our rookie Center, now Randle w Slow Mo or Slow Mo w Rudy. I don't understand why can't they just build around Ant n make things easier, instead they expect Ant save dem from this madness. This team makes no sense (build players n make things easier for Rudy) why can't they just build the team right around Ant for once. Finch can't also make adjustment, it can work if he tweak the lineup but he's stubborn
Playing Kyle Anderson is going to be highly matchup dependent. TJ Shannon is more playable because TJ can shoot the 3 and space the floor. Kyle is becoming unplayable when he is sharing the court with Rudy. This did not work at all. Maybe a lineup with Julius and Naz + Kyle would have more success.
I get that Finch wants “cerebral players” out there with the team, but jfc. I step off the ledge because Conley out of the rotation but then we just add Slowmo?
Get the guy outta here. Lucking into a wcf because Steph was injured kept us from making the necessary moves.
Finch won't do it but starters should be Ayo, Ant, Jaden, Naz and Rudy and coming off the bench Bones, Donte, TJ, Julius and Joan with these bench players attacking the other team's 2nd rotations. Ant and Julius on the court at the same time also does not work.
Randle regressing, Gobert still can't accept his role as a defensive anchor and wants to score, Kyle Anderson is not a upgrade over MN Mike, Ant ball hog terrible shot selection….. We cooked
rudy seems to becoming more and more unaware of his own offensive deficits which is honestly just as bad as any other issues on the team, he has the coordination of a coked out baby giraffe
We definitely have some tough decisions to make over the offseason, regardless if we do well in the playoffs. This team has something wrong with it and it feels like someone in the locker room needs to be moved for someone else.
Delicate situation, as the wrong move could hurt and make us worse off.

might be the addition of slow mo we get all park style fast pace guys and then add a snail to the rotation ofc its going to mess up the pacing
