  1. Steve Kerr has expressed concerns about the 82-game NBA schedule, stating that it is too demanding for players due to the increased pace of play and the need to cover more ground defensively. He believes this has led to a higher incidence of injuries and fatigue among players. Kerr has advocated for a shorter season, suggesting that 10 fewer games could improve the quality of the game and player welfare.

  2. I like ott but his excuses are starting to sound Kliff-ian in nature. I don’t want to hear excuses. Get it done!

  3. THIS…TEAM…SUCKS! Losing streak will hit at least 7 as they will get punked out by Toronto (again!) and smoked by Denver on Tuesday! ABSOLUTE TRASH this team is. Can't beat Milwaukee without Giannis? And they will DROP outta the 7th spot soon!

  4. Coach OTT,1st off your a great coach. Love what you have brought to phx. I don't know more than you and never will and I know my place as a fan. But defensively why do we and nba teams not trust 1 on 1 defence more. It's just a question ,not me being disrespectful thinking I'm smarter or know more. To me a defence fails when a crack appears. For instance if a player pump fakes a 3 and player jumps instead of a stutter step into your defensive stance. It creates a crack were the offence for example, can touch the paint and kick out for a 3 ,were usually a defender will rotate late and it's a 3. I feel teams don't trust 1 on 1 defence. Iv watched rasheer ,goody dunn and others and have felt they have done a great job defensively 1 on 1,then help comes wich creates that crack that the offence can play from. Scrambling on defence with rotations is most times gonna lead to a open shot. Shouldn't help be when I defender is beat legitly instead of funnelling a guy towards the rim relying on help. But your the man OTT,just my thoughts when I watch. We lost these games lately ,but we had a chance in all of them. I will never use injuries as a excuse, the nba is the best players in the world and the minutes for rasheer and man man have been super valuable for us going foward. Suns fan from Australia. SUNS UP

  5. Love Coach Ott, best coach we've had since Paul Westphal and in spite of being the literal shell of the team we were, we're still in pretty much every game. Sit Booker in the 4th quarter so he can't lose us games like tonight and we'd have won probably 2-3 of those. Ighodaro, I think is the best backup big in the league but that's where he belongs but he's forced to start. Losing Williams really hurt this team. Losing Brooks took away the guts, bravado, heart, and leadership. We're going to be much better next season when hopefully Fleming starts, not sure why he didn't start tonight. Not like we have anything to lose at this point. Another thing that really bothers me is fools pointing to beta Kerr saying it's because the season is too long and it's a tougher era now. The 82 game season has nothing to do with it. The pace isn't faster now, it was much faster, more breakneck in the 60's-80's than now. This era is run to about to about half court and shoot a 3, then jog back. If that's hurting you then you really need to get in better shape. This league is full of winers and complainers but not full of players committing their bodies to game. Soft tissue injuries aren't happening because of pace of play, if it was you'd have seen so many injuries back in the 80's but you didn't.
