Hardaway plays better, means this Nuggets team is further away from championship. Nuggets should not rely on guards outside shooting to win ball games, that's not their identity. This team should be dominant in the paint, good but low volume 3-point shooting, and solid defensively. Now this team is more like a perimeter shooting team, this version of Nuggets is not a contender at all

I’ve watched every Denver game the last few years and it’s quite obvious that the NBA has given a clear directive to the refs that Nikola Jokic will not win another ring and finals mvp.
My takeaways
Not a pretty win but effective
Jokic either needs to beat them with pace, he needs to cut or he to bully them once he has the ball and punish them. The refs clearly don't favour him so he needs to utilise off-ball and settle once he has the ball in the post like Barkley. The way they're guarding him, they won't let him utilise his post work. Screw them shitty refs and Adam Silver.
CB needs to polish his offensive bag and not solely rely on transition buckets and cuts. That ain't gonna work against defensive solos teams like the Thunder and Spurs.

allowed defense in Joker case is crime!! someone from the organization must necessarily react to the officials because this is obvious.. after that playoff against OKC and their constant play on the edge of fouls gave everyone an idea how to stop Joker and they succeeded to some extent, especially since he managed to get injured by someone else's fault!! and now the internet is buzzing about Joker's flop instead of commenting on the ufc fight that Joker survives every match, comparing Shaie, Wemby or Luka's effectiveness to Joker's !! i fear that Joker will end his career early because of these things, he will be hurt more seriously..unfortunately, Joker needs as many floop games as possible until they start judging the shots on his hands and body that he is going through..

Unfortunately, I hate to say it but since his injury Jokic has just not been the same player as before. As for the refs well it is difficult to say really, clearly they are allowing smaller players to be very handsy on him and he obviously is not Shaq in that he has the movement and leaping ability to just bulldoze his way over the player, plus even if he could do that, I am sure the refs would just call offensive foul on him every time, so its difficult really to say. The biggest issue is his 3s really. He cannot hit one to save his life and therefore cannot stretch the floor and it's just the main issue if you ask me.
My takeaway is Adelman is an idiot. Only going 8 deep is exactly what destroyed us last year. This is Malone all over again. We need to be plying Zeke, Pickett, Strawther. Starters are gunna be run to the ground. Hope Jokic leaves

Basically same game as vs Memphis, this time THJ made the shots and difference.
Jokic needs to loose weight and to be quicker otherwise he will not get a ball in a plafoyy
The way to beat the Thunder trap is that Jokic needs to setup down low and stop coming out to the top of the key to get the ball. The refs are letting little guys play as aggressive as they can on Jokic and that's not changing. If Jokic stays by the basket, he doesn't need to worry about passing or creating anything and can just torch the defense with his scoring.
It needs to be Jamal/CB/AG/Cam setting the pick and creating the driving path to the lane. Once they're in the paint, they have to be able to get the ball to Jokic or finish on a slower defender. Until the refs start calling fouls on the smaller players fronting Jokic, the current approach will NEVER work. I don't know why the team hasn't adjusted yet.
