The offense only work like a real offense with Reed on the floor. Reed hasnt been a negative player in a loooong time and he has the safest hand on this Rockets team. So, yes; he has to be a permanent starter and they are like 4 months late.

Only comparing height here, but Curry, Irving, are 6”2, and even the Rockets own Fred VanVleet is 6 foot. So stop saying small as if the dude is 5”8 lol.
Reed has been my favorite rocket for a while now. I loved Alpi the first 3 years but man he's been doing horribly as far as turnovers and defense goes. Once he gets it back, I think we'll be contenders again 🚀
The real question isn’t whether Reed should start this year. The real question is whether it’s already time to decide that FVV should not usurp that role from Reed next year. Because as much as I like FVV I also believe we should dangle him as trade bait over the summer. Barring a trade of FVV he’d be an amazing backup for us next year.
You have a whole team of athletes that are mid tier shooters. You need a facilitator who can set them up, otherwise their defense is negated by their terrible offense. Start the kid.
Udoka sees the truth finally that Reed has been the key to unlock this team(not Josh okogie lol). Will he drop his pride and let this team free or will he go back to his old ways when playoffs arrive and cost them a 1st round series?
The time was at the beginning of the season and for sure when Adams went down. Reed didn't get credit for the block……uggg YES, Amen is better playing off-ball, spacing is better with Reed at point and he commits fewer TOVs per 36 than Amen, KD and Sengun. Those 3 are 9.1 per 36 and Reed is 2.2 per 36. Sure hope Udoka commits to Reed and in the playoffs too.
