A player would have to make 300 threes for 15 seasons to hit 4500 and Curry is likely going to be pushing 5,000 by the time he retires. Not impossible! But very hard to find that consistency in a player.
kon will most likely overtake curry in total made 3s if he stay healthy and consistent. but what makes curry special is he can shoot 3pts anywhere in the court.

Injuries really hurt Steph's career when it comes to his 3 pt record. He probably would've had 1000 more 3s if he didn't get all the injuries. Someone will break it eventually but it'll probably take 20+ years before anyone gets close.
Stephen Curry has made ~4,235 threes in his career. Kon Knueppel has made ~245. He'd have to make at least 285 triples per season for 15 years to get to 4,275. That doesn't even count the fact that Stephen Curry isn't done playing yet and could get his total closer to ~4,500 threes made.
