Jeff Teague DEBATES if Kevin Durant is BEST SCORER EVER after PASSING Michael Jordan | Club 520

Jeff Teague, DJ Wells, and B Hen react to Houston Rockets star Kevin Durant passing Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan for fourth on the NBA all-time scorers list. The guys debate whether KD is the greatest scorer in NBA history throughout his career with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, Phoenix Suns, and Rockets—and they agree that he is the most efficient, as he caught MJ in 2,200 fewer shots.

  1. He is. Dude has been near 50-40-90 or on it for lke 12 yrs straight, at high volume. If we're talking pure overall offensive skill, though, it's Kyrie Irving. He just happens to be 6'2.

  2. So y’all just not gonna mention his father getting murdered is the reason why he retired in the off-season.

  3. First of all congratulations to KD. Not a big KD fan because of the way he left OKC and went specifically to the Warriors but no question regarding the game.

That said I'm not with the idea that he is the best scorer. You can say he is the cleanest or the purest because of the fact that at 7 feet tall he can score like a guard and it looks so esthetically pleasing.

But give me Lebron or MJ over KD on offense any day. No doubt MJ is the greatest straight scorer. But he is not a better offensive player than bron. Offense includes passing the ball. The fact that Lebron is a pass first guy and is the leading scorer tells you all you need to know.

One other thing I am not with this idea that people say what if MJ didn't retire. People just assume he would have killed which he would have but for how long? He was likely burnt out when he first retired and you never know if an injury or something else could have happened. All I am saying is let's not hold longevity against people. There might come a time in 20 years were someone like Wemby or another players passes Lebron in terms of longevity and we will have to accept it.

  4. No, KD isnt the greatest scorer. He's the most efficient scorer. KD is too easy to take out of the game. When teams decide to scheme for him, he allows himself to be taken out of the game. Kobe and Jordan would never allow a scheme to take them away from scoring 30. KD is the definition of letting the game come to him, but if the game dont come to him, he is ok with that. Which makes him a beta mentally. Alpha talent, Alpha skillset but Beta mentality

  5. Almost like Jordan was a “shooting” guard. People keep bringing up this less shots thing to justify people being up there with him

  6. Jordan has the best argument, 10x scoring titles,#1 reg season ppg, #1 playoff ppg, 63 points in playoff game.
Wilt probably 2nd, 7x scoring titles, 50 ppg and 100 pts in a game.
Then a bunch of guys have an argument for 3rd Kareem, KD, Kobe, Steph, AI, Harden, Gervin

  7. KD never drove the bus. He Copiloted a few teams — the man played w/ 2x MVP STEPHEN CURRY w/ Klay

Then he played with Kyrie the dribbling savant w/ Harden throwing dimes. Then dimes from Cp3-Book. KD is a great scorer, elite. But he also didn't played as much as D as MJ. KD has zero All Defensive teams. MJ has 9 All NBA defensive 1st teams too. NINE.

KD is a Top 20-ish player. Enjoy it. But MJ? Y'all know. (Too bad it didn't work out with WB)

  8. You can tell them boys just learned how to read when it come to the ads, that was take 9 on them ads cuz
