VJ Edgecombe had another monster game with 35 points and a career-high 7 three pointers made. He is the first Sixers rookie to have those stats in a single game. He looks like a star in the making. Jared McCain dropped 13 points off the bench in 25 minutes in his return to Philadelphia for the first time since being traded. Superstar? I’m so tired of that word being used so commonly now. Do you know what a “superstar” is? There are players in the NBA that do what VJ just did against the OKC all the time and they aren’t “superstars”. People using that word so damn loosely in this generation is comical. VJ has a lot to prove and more importantly he has to do this consistently for years!!!! That’s the key! For years!!!!
VJ not having any free throws is bothersome. This is a guy that drives to the basket, he’s a hi flyer. He needs to get those free points that real scorers get. Guys like SGA or Harden. Make it an art. Kid needs to get to the line. If he starts doing that….he’ll have it all.

Sam Hinkie would have never built anything. Had 4 years and it was just Ben and Joel. One was mentally weak and the other was physically a piece of glass. Outside of them two, the rest of the team was trash.
