I think as much as we have seen kolek improve this season he prolly needs a going to play as an emergency. I think the rotation in the playoffs and this is assuming everyone is healthy including deuce is prolly going to be Brunson/bridges/og/ hart/kat deuce Shamet and Mitch and prolly your 8.5 being Alvarado and I would say clarkson and diwara are situational and yes that boy JC is making an impact especially of late which is great to see
Knicks are winning but there are glaring flaws. 1st Brunson & Kats lack of cohesion. 2nd, lack of identity, Jeckyll /Hyde offense & defense. Third is unpredictability of bench players. Lastly, Coach Browns dubious situational decisions. Wait one more, extremely poor at defending the 3.
Biggest problem is the fanbase. They’re stealing the joy out of the game just to pretend they’re the next Skip Bayliss or whatever.
One of the reasons for the Knicks slow starts, is the team hoisting up a bunch of threes early in the game. They should focus on getting points in the paint or on midranges. I agree that we should push the pace, but last year the Celtics focused on putting up a bunch 3’s and we bounced them in the playoffs. I hope that coach Brown doesn’t make the same mistake that Boston made last year. We don’t have Splash Brothers on the Knicks.
The Knicks are a flawed roster, with players still playing out of position. When players especially the starters are hitting shots and the bench contributes a little, they have a chance at beating anyone. But the Knicks are so inconsistent at both ends that they can also lose to anyone. This late in the season if things havent been corrected by now, they wont before the playoffs start. We need to hope guys are hitting shots and opposing teams miss more than normal for us to advance in the playoffs.
Jalen Brunson is selfish, regardless of pay cut, he acts to entitled and wants most of the shine when they play thru Kay much better team….Mike Brown suspect
