Absolutely insane performance by Cooper-just unreal. To be fair, he did have a lot of turnovers today, which isn’t great, but the fact that he’s only 19 and still clutches it-hitting big shots-and his passing game? 9 assists. Nine. Just incredible. He’s so smart on the court. Not like Wembanyama, who by his third season is still averaging only 3 assists per game.

Idk if Mavs will be lucky enough to move up to top 3 of this draft class but it’s a deep class and there will likely be someone on the board with allstar potential wherever they draft in the lottery. As good as Flagg is now , not to sound like a broken record but it can’t be understated that he’s only 19 and the things he’s doing already are not normal for this age and he’ll likely be a significantly better player than he is now as he gets older .
Get him a young future allstar running mate and the Mavs future is set for a decade plus .
