  1. Tatum is still recovering. I wonder how the game would have went were he healthy. But yeah the Wolves had very great effort. But I think it hurts the Celtics effort when they have to give a recovering player minutes. He picked it up in the Second half, but he still needs to build himself up.

  2. The Celtics difficulty with teams that just foul constantly continues. The way they play requires movement and trust in the system, both things that take a big hit when getting fouled a lot.

  3. 39:40 I understand you had to chuckle at your own title for that segment. šŸ˜…šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

It was such a joke that game lmao šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

  4. Golden State should stay 10th seed, no need to bother trying to win one, or two play-in games.

This upcoming draft looks VERY promising, they should focus on that. I wouldn't even bring back Steph, but it's hard to convince Steph from sitting out many more games than he has to (my guess is he is already sitting out games he'd wanna play šŸ˜…).

  5. Great video. Your analysis of Ant was exactly why me and other fans were APPALLED by all the bad advice the media gave Luka! I have never in my life seen a star who was so flawed defensively given a pass like Luka. Luka didn’t need to play defense, ā€œhis offensive production is more than enoughā€ talking point was ridiculous. You were going to surround him and AR with enough defenders to win a championship! Really, in today’s NBA? Expecting LeBron to be the defensive anchor for the big 3 was asinine and doomed to fail. LeBron hasn’t changed, he ā€œaccepted his 3rd optionā€ role ALL SEASON LONG. Thank God both Luka and AR ignored that terrible advice and really started putting in serious work defensively. That’s where the real change happened.

  6. Man I need the Wolves and Rockets to swap positions šŸ˜‚ as a Spurs fan, it'd be so nice to watch the Wolves and Nuggets go at it in the first round. Then OKC vs the winner. IF this young, inexperienced Spurs team can get to the WCF it'd be great if 2 of those 3 teams can eliminate each other

  7. As a Wolves fan, you were spot on about Ant's offball defense though. He falls asleep sometimes. I also think that despite our success, we might need a new coach other than Finch that takes us to the next level, maybe a Malone or promoting Nori.

  8. The wolves absolutely need a voice change! They have tuned Finch out and Finch is not a motivator. They will win if they can get that voice they listen to.

  9. That magic game was awfully officiated and 95% of it favored Orlando. I watched that entire game from start to finish. Reaves getting absolutely trucked and thrown to ground in beginning not only should have been a of offensive foul on Orlando it should have potentially been a flagrant penalty 1. Im not trying to be soft or nothing but we saw things called flagrant fouls that are significantly less than that it was beyond unnecessary the Lakers challenge as they should and the refs somehow still say no it was a foul on Reaves which still makes zero sense. What the fuck are the point of challenges if the refs are gonna look at it then still make the wrong call lmao. then you add several plays where Hayes is getting close lined in mid air and the refs refusing to blow the whistle until the final second, refs calling a tech on Smart for literally zero reason as Goga lands on him. A shit ton of plays where Bron, Luka, Reaves, or even Smart blatantly getting hit in the head and clearly fouled and the refs not calling it a foul. A shit ton of plays where Lakers are fouled clearly in the shooting motion yet refs say no it's on the floor yet when the magic get fouled and they aren't even trying to shoot refs say it's in motion and give them ftsšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ then for everyone saying let them play physical don't call a foul on every play the Lakers would look to match the physicality and refs would call it a foul on Lakers. the magic would be twice as physical and no fouls were called on them. It was blatantly biased towards orlando with the calls. Maybe you can say one or two went in LA's favor but thats compared to atleast 10 going in Orlando's favor that shouldn't have. Then that 2nd to last inbounds play Lebron is clear as day fouled as he's going up. Check the angles basically every single one shows Palo clear as day swatting his arm which is a textbook definition of a foul. Lakers beat the magic plus refs.

  10. MAILBAG: Hi Jason, i will need more time of you explaining why you didn't like Ad Astra lol. Keep up the great work and thank you for all the analysis you guys do

  11. Actually I believe the thing that has been most underrated about Boston is how important a healthy Porz was to them.

  12. Jason, I’ve been saying this all year long but realistically, is there any possible way for the Lakers to acquire Jaden McDaniels in the next few years? I continue to maintain that he would be the best pairing with Luka that is feasible. I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter.

  13. Agreed. If Finch doesn't at least make it back to the WCF I would guess he's gone. Too many mistakes repeated year after year.

Edit: regarding Boston. They are small and un-athletic outside of White, Tatum, and Brown. The rest of those guys are just good role players that are well coached. I don't see them winning big this year even if they get to the Finals. Just too small.

  14. Mailbag Hey Jason I’ve been loving your analysis and personality since I found your channel, why is it that head coaches seem to be recycled more in the NBA compared to say the NFL, is it due to the specifics of each coaches ideal scheme/system needing more specific players on the roster and so they are given more chances with different organizations saying hey our roster is closer to what this coach likes to run and we don’t care he was fired because he wasn’t given a fair shake with the roster or?? Thank you for your time and keep up the good work

  15. Didn't watch the Celtics Wolves game, but the defensive strategy you described the Wolves using is the exact type of thing I feel like Chris Finch hasn't been doing to improve his team. I'd like to see him try stuff like that when Ant's there.

  16. I’ve accepted Jason’s flaws but I gotta say…. His content is so much better when the Lakers are irrelevant 😭

  17. Finch doesn’t do anything elite like other top coaches. His offense is vanilla iso ball. Defense is terrible without Rudy, and his worse trait is he doesn’t develop and young players. All the elite coaches have a calling card

  18. Have you guys noticed that ever since Jason got sponsored by vuori; he’s been sick more and more often? Sounds like shit quality clothes to me
