OKC just Proved THIS to us…

The Oklahoma City (OKC) Thunder just bashed VJ Edgecomb and Tyrese Maxey-less the Philadelphia 76ers, 123-103, for their 13th win in a row (despite the suspension of Ajay Mitchell). Not only was it former Philadelphia 76ers’ Jared McCain and Isaiah Joe’s homecoming game in Philly, where they hit 3 three-pointers each, it was Jalen Williams’ (JDub’s) first contest since the All-Star break. The tall man trio of Chet Holmgren, Isaiah Hartenstein, and Jaylin Williams balled out, the reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (SGA) efficiently extended his record scoring streak, and OKC is rounding into form, and health, as the playoffs approach. Gabriel Ebersole goes over how the team is both talking the talk, as well as walking the walk, of how they plan to go back to back as NBA Champions, defending their Larry O’Brien earned from the 2025 NBA Finals victory over Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers.

  1. Being able to let our injured players fully heal and not rush them back is SO important to our success. What other team in history could deal with the injuries we've seen and still have the best record in the league? It's crazy.

  2. 18 points in 20 minutes from JDub is so great to see. He was attacking and setting the tone. I was anxious about his return. Not gonna lie.

  3. I am so tired of Dort’s poor play and still continues to get way too many minutes. Please put him on the bench. I don’t give a damn about his defense, which isn’t that good this year.

  4. I have said for many months now that Mitchell should replace dort in the starting lineup (I realize mitchell was out this game) because he is just way too one dimensional and inconsistent offensively and I'm tripling down on that at this point. This game is a perfect example as Dort is just completely nonexistent offensively and he has way too many games like that. Against Denver last year in the playoffs he missed 37 threes in 7 games and he is why we almost lost to them. We're not beating the spurs with him out there. Can't have a weak link like that in the starting lineup.

  5. JDub being injured was a blessing in disguise. He'll ramp up and be fine for the playoffs but teams won't have too much film on him this season. Also he'll earn $10m less next season which could let us keep both Dort and Wallace
