Do you think A.J. Dybantsa should be the No. 1 player on the Nets' draft board? If not, who would you have No. 1 and why?
If you get number 1 draft AJ, if it’s 5-6 get Acuff.
I hope you get AJ, but then where does MPJ go?
Peterson is more limited than AJ.
AJ is like TMAC
I’d like to see him, being AJ, be abetter defensive player. the size is there. Peterson isn’t a good playmaker, he’s better off ball. Both players get double teamed and AJ dominates more.
Trade MPJ to get another top 10 pick, if you land top 2
Kon is not all nba yet
Darryn Peterson is the best Fit
Boozer is like Banchero
Would you want Banchero
Boozer is 18, 6’9” , 250
Lucas is right, boozer needs a center
Darryn Peterson isn’t a finished product, he’s listed as a PG/SG. He’s had most of his success in college off ball. His defense is suspect. His playmaker skills are questionable.
Cam Thomas WAIVED again!!! Hahaha guess Bucks didn’t believe in him. 😂
Who will set his screens
Aj and Acuff are the 2 best players for the Nets. Then Caleb Wilson as the second best player on a championship team. I don't trust DP and Boozer isn't a franchise piece.
This/These podcast should not be 30 minutes long, 15 minutes tops!!!
To me, Boozer is the much safer pick. And he fills a need. We need more beef in the front court. No more stick figures. I fear Dybantsa is going to turn into Cam Thomas, albeit taller, longer, and more athletic.
AJ had a good one game in the NCAA Tournament. However, we saw reminders that he'll need to work on the following.
1) 3 point shooting: He was 1 for 7 from behind the arc. He will need to work on this. Becoming a 35% to 40+% three point shooter would be ideal.
2) Defense: AJ has the size and athletism to be as good of a defender as he wants to be but he will need to put in the work to get there.
3) Make good reads out of double teams: This can be reconciled with practice. He has to be better able to find open teammate as the double teams will be coming his way frequently.
There are 4 players in AJ, Peterson, Boozer, Wilson who all IMO are worthy of the 1st overall pick. AJ reminds of durant and would be perfect in Brooklyn.
AJ of the three has franchise player potential. Nobody is a perfect prospect those guys LeBron, Victor are the true generational talents. Even Cooper Flagg was not a perfect prospect.
I put AJ in the same category as Cooper. You want a potential number one guy that will also bring intrigue to your team. I honestly think the two guys in the top 6 are AJ and Kingston Fleming something about them.
As he should. He is who they NEED. He can shoulder it all
Caleb Wilson
AJ has been my number 1 from the beginning but my brother who is really good at analyzing players in his own right gave me pause the other day when he said that “Dybansta looks really good but has the makeup where he could trend in the direction of a RJ Barrett”. Though RJ is a good nba player I would not want to pick AJ if he ended up being a slightly better RJ.
We need a game changer with the number 1 pick so if that’s the case I would rather choose Peterson even though he gives me Kawhi personality vibes. Or even Boozer who gives me high IQ Julius Randle vibes. Hopefully AJ becomes more Tmac than he does RJ and with all that being said I would rather have pick #2 instead of #1 so we don’t have to deal with the pressure of making the wrong choice 😂😂
