Why The Entire NBA Is Terrified Of This Player

Victor Wembanyama is terrifying the whole NBA.

Legends are thankful they are near retirement, current players are struggling to figure out how to score on him, and analysts believe he will win every single award this season (assuming he gets to 65 games…)

So, what makes this 7’4″, San Antonio Spurs Center so scary? Well, today we find out.

  1. He has to go 7-0 in the finals; he is tall, and I get it, but his body will eventually get pushed around until his knees or ankle buckles in this gazelle league with magnets on the rim and basketballs. He will not last, I promise you; he has to win the finals this year for you today. He will or is better than MJ…you sound like a Gen Z hater of our era, which is the best ever. Bird, Magic, and MJ were real ballplayers; the '80s Pistons would have damaged his knees or feet like they did to Robert Parish.

  2. My personal assesment about Wemby:
    1. He will get the trophy in 2029, when he's 25
    2. In 2039 when he's 35, Wemby will get 5x NBA World Champions with the Spurs
    3. And Wemby will retire in 2047, when he's 43 age, within 6x Larry O'Brien Trophy

  3. never forget that there were a lot of people on a crusade to tell everyone that scoot henderson should be the first pick because "he is a real baller"

  4. The Spurs have built a phenomenal group of guards around Wemby with diverse skills (Fox, Castle, Harper, Vassell, Champagnie, Johnson, Bryant) that we have to play as a small forward or power forward in a small ball lineup because we don’t have a traditional small forward that’s 6’-8” or 6’-9”. We don’t have a traditional power forward either like Tim Duncan.

Imagine how scary the Spurs become once we start adding these pieces to our young core in the upcoming years.

  5. lmao. That Wembanyama wouldnt last three full seasons in the 90s with how he's body built

  6. All the legends were lowkey hating until wemby reached out for advice from them then they became fans 😂

  7. when wemby was i born i told myself hes going to get drafted by the spurs, i dont know what made me say that, my friends were with me and they said oh okay, you know im a fan of the game

  8. I'd love to have seen him play against Carl Malone, Shaq, Mutumbo(sic), Dennis Rodman, the bad boys of Detroit, the Boston Celtics back in the day. These guys aren't playing defense, so he can just do as he pleases. I'd like to see him play against a true big man. Back in the 80's and 90's there where true big men. This guy is thin, a bag a.bones. yes he has skills, but I'd have loved to see what those skills look like back in the days of the big men in the NBA. In my opinion, the only thing he has that would be effective would be his outside shot. And maybe his ability to block shots. But I don't see him scoring as many points in the 80's and 90's as he's scoring currently

  9. Once he puts a bit muscle, we Will see how his jpints behave. Remember Ralph Sampson a 7'4" no1 Pick for Houston in 1983. After 4 years he was unlucky out due to injury,

  10. High Engagement: Brazil is the 3rd largest international market, with a record of 57.6 million fans in 2025/26. That said, WHERE IS THE AUDIO IN PORTUGUESE? 🤬🤬🤬🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

  11. He will get injured at some point. Just have to pray, it doesn't happen before the championship run. 😊

  12. People really hating on this guy like he got his own skill play like everyone other basketball player who being his self he team player stop comparing him to wilt that’s the problem now comparing he himself he not thinking about mj bol bol or wilt he trying lead

  13. This kid is NOT better than Jordan. Litmus test, swap the eras. According to players, experts, and pundits Jordan would average 45-50 points and be a shutdown defender in todays game. Wembenyama would play for 2 weeks and be beaten into a pancake.

  14. Nobody scared of him. He’s not even close to Jordan bird would have smoked him He’s good don’t get me wrong, but he’s not Michael Jordan Shaq with dominate him too because he can’t stop him. He’s too light

  15. Wembanyama is good playing in a very very weak NBA league, so it's no surprise thinking some players are terrified. But Wembanyama has not won anything in this current NBA, also getting league MVP don't mean Shit if you don't win a NBA Championship. I've been a die-hard Spurs fan since Michael Jordan retired, but Victor has not won anything to be in any conversation concerning greatness.

  16. In reality his movements are janky and slow, come playoff time the others teams will use his long frame movements as a rotation tell and shut down the spurs. they need to green light a second option.

  17. I see some fans online saying Wemby’s success is due to his height & that it’s unfair as if his height is the reason why he dominates. But tall guys & “big men” do NOT move like Wemby or shoot like Wemby. There are many 7 footers in professional basketball that don’t even come close to Wemby’s talent despite their height advantage. They move stiff & slow & usually can’t shoot. Wemby also has a high basketball IQ which is usually only typical for veteran stars. He’s just extremely skilled & his height just puts an exclamation point on it. If Wemby was a foot shorter, he’d still be in the NBA. That’s what’s crazy. And terrifying.

  18. JORDAN HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HIS SON EDWARDS IS BETHER…..
