  1. 65 game rule is the only good thing that has come out of the Silver NBA. It sucks if you get hurt, but such is life.

  2. Let the voters vote for MVP, your gonna have the 4th best player in the league win a MVP. Games played should be considered for the award but let the voters decide.

  3. I don’t think Cade Cunningham is worried about individual awards right now. The Pistons put themselves in a position to make a deep playoff run and the dude suffered a collapsed lung which severely damaged their chances and this lady is talking about him not being eligible for an award.

  4. Problem is players in the past didn’t have to deal with this rule. In this insane high paced era with more back to backs then ever. Guys are gonna get hurt players like bill Walton won mvp playing like 50 games and guys like Scottie Pippen made all nba playing like 41 games so to me I don’t think it’s fair to punish this era when this wasn’t true for dudes in the past. Also all nba is tied to contracts, like I think the best of the best should get top dollar regardless of how much they play in a single season. Also you’re taking power away from voters. Like sure maybe if you don’t play 65 then you can’t make first team or win mvp or DPOY. But to use that metric for all nba teams and all defensive teams is ridiculous.

  5. There has to be some sort of penalty for players collecting on hundred million dollar contracts to actually play the game, but instead riding the bench for reasons. People pay more and more money to go to games and see these marquee players or cough up for league passes to watch their favorite players on tv. In fact part of the reason they get these contracts outside of their basketball ability is their popularity. Years past players just saying "nope, not tonight" wasnt as much of a thing so making it a rule that you actually have to play the sport you're paid to play ridiculous amounts of money for before you qualify for mvp consideration wasnt necessary. So they're not eligible for MVP. Besides, if the player really cared, they would play to ensure they were in the running (of course this sentiment excludes players with actual injuries).

  6. 2:53 yo we really gotta talk about how long harden been good lowkey ain’t gonna lie he always got production I be done thought he fall off a little bit ago but I love James and appreciate his game as a Celtics fan ❤

  7. The Celtics organization did not bring him back, they let him set his own timeline and come back when HE felt ready.
